Had a chance to go to "The Boat" called that by all the locals because the building is shaped like a big boat. The most important change is in the Champagne Room. It has been remodeled and contains 4 large cubicles each with (the old) leather sofas, but all facing away from the windows (towards the wall) with a 5 foot wooden wall separating each cubicle and the entrance...A LOT of Privacy!! The cost of entrance is $10 during the day/20 nite and $20 a song, but that sometimes is negotiable with your dancer. Seeing that the plon floor dances are now $8.00, the VIP room dances are $10 in a shared cubicle,the Champagne room is now a bargain.

And as there are several of the old Candy Store dancers here, it has now reached a seal of approval from this Candy Store fan, and until a better club is found, is right now is the best club in thge old Pueblo.
