I visited Bare Assets for the...

I visited Bare Assets for the first time in nearly a year this past Saturday. The parking lot was nearly full, and even though parking isn't the best at this club, a full lot is generally a good sign no matter where you go.

The first door you enter leads you to the booth where you pay your $7 cover charge. The second door gives you access to the club. Upon entering, there are a series of bar top type tables in front of you, and to the right is the bar, seating area and stage. The private dance room is in the far corner near the end of the stage. There were about 20 dancers on that night, and while I initially wasn't impressed with the quality, it improved as I got to see more and more dancers go on stage. It seemed the good looking ones were on stage one after another. The waitresses were rather easy on the eye, too.

I ordered a Michelob Ultra ($5.45) and picked a chair along the stage. The thing I liked was that the dancers milling around the floor seemed to stay away from you if you were seated at the stage. I know, some of you may like that, but often times I find it annoying especially when there are attractive dancers on stage. I don't know if that's the norm for this club, but it seemed to be the tone that night.
