Tycoons was in the news because a gang with AK-47's had robbed the club the previous night. I happened to be at a meeting on that side of Detroit and so I decided to check the place out. I'm not brave--I just figured that the club would not be robbed twice in two days.

Tycoons is on the eastern end of the 8 Mile Road strip that boasts countless strip clubs. The club is small but attractive inside. I felt completely safe.

There is no cover charge during the day. Six or eight dancers were in the club, and they ranged from 5 to 7. Mainly nice looking but no stunning girls, which is what I really like. I talked to several dancers and asked about the robbery, but none of them had been in the club when it was robbed.
