I visit Visions regularly but have not reviewed it in about eight months, so I thought I'd give a nice long description. Most things have changed very little over that time. (This review is listed as weekday evening, my usual time to visit, but I've been at several times, across all time-slots throughout the week, for the past six months or so.)

The "system" is still that a girl will do a one-song or two-song set, with no delay before the next girl dances (or, on a rare occasion, there might be a one-song gap between girls, if the club is totally empty, on a weekday afternoon for example). The girl generally will disrobe down to only thong and shoes -- topless definitely. She will then promenade by walking along the top of each of the 2 U-loop bars, stopping at each patron's stool to do a ten- or twenty-second gyration, accepting the mandatory minimum $1 tip from each dude. This has many disadvantages -- you're "forced" to garter-tip a minimum of $1 to EVERY girl that comes by your seating place; and yet you can't really SEE the girl, since your angle of observation is from the level of her shins; and every 30th girl kicks someone's drink into his lap, doh! And the promenade is long -- about six or eight songs at the shortest, when the place is full. Thus, if you're waiting for a girl whom you see on stage, you'll have a long wait. But the system has the advantage that the girls are required to give a nice "hello" to every patron who sits at the bar, thus providing you the chance to say "Hey, I'd like to have some time to hang with you / get a dance with you / please come by to visit." I've been in some clubs where it's not so easy to do this, since the girls are often wrapped up at a TABLE with regulars or high-rollers, making it difficult for a new patron to invade their space and break the ice. Therefore, I do appreciate the fact that at Visions, to the contrary, I am not DENIED access to any girl by any "Bluto or Gino" taking over her attention. After my requests for attention, I find that some girls will honor their promise to come back and hang out; those tend to be the good girls, and I'd want them to hang out, thanks to their good attitudes. Other girls won't ever show up, but it's handy to note, that the ones who DON'T return, are the ones whom I wouldn't have WANTED to return, thanks to their bad attitudes. It's nicely self-selecting, a virtuous cycle. Let things flow, and you'll find that the flow-worthy girls generally flow toward you at Visions.

Second, another thing that hasn't changed for a year or so is the specifics of pricing and timing. Your beer is $4, your highball is $6, your entry is $5 (includes ticket for one beer), your lapper is $20 in the open room or $30 in the cubicle ("VIP") per song, your music is classic rock interspersed with "the latest" stuff I never hear except at strip clubs, your song is rock-song-length and never cut short (sometimes it's too long! heh ...). The bartenders are all pro-active, helpful, and funny, and they recognize and acknowledge anybody quickly. For example, if you're only in town for three nights but make yourself known at Visions for the first two, then by the third night they'll give you a goodbye and 'have a great trip back home, don't forget us!' in a very attentive manner. I have no complaints about the staff, pricing, or service at Visions. Excellent! In fact, the door-men and bouncers are probably the most effective at defending a club, a dancer, a parking lot in the entire city. I would hate to see what might happen if you crossed one of them, but since it's my car they're keeping watch over, I'm glad to know they're on my side. Safest parking lot in the city!
