Dropped by St. James after landing...

Dropped by St. James after landing at IAH. I hadn't had an afternoon visit in awhile and hadn't visited St. James since they reorganized their upstairs seating.

About that - the VIP in the upper left corner is still there but it's been expanded to include an axillary balcony that looks down onto the stage. There are maybe an additional five tables in this area but seems disappointingly well lit. I'm not sure this area adds anything to the VIP experience.

The newer VIP lounge is in the upper right corner and is separated from the rest of the club by a set of mahogany doors. Again, that area seems very well lit and though the area is private from the rest of the club, there's no privacy per se' within the VIP area itself.
