I saw an ad in the...

I saw an ad in the Houston Press about this club opening. It said it would be a top-notch, high-end club with Houston's most glamorous dancers. The location is on Telephone Road, close to a bunch of Korean bars, so it's a bit of a seedy area, but close to downtown.

I drove by on a Saturday night at 8 pm, and almost drove past it. Workmen were still actively painting, adding lighting, and performing finishing touches on the exterior. Lighting and signs were still being worked on. The parking lot was fenced and gated, and not that large, but there was a guard at the door. The parking lot security has to be good because as I mentioned, the area outside the club is of some concern.

I entered, and asked the guy at the door whether they were open. He said that they were not officially open yet, but this was an early opening, and not everything was ready yet. Since this was the case, he let me enter for free.
