I went here with a buddy...

I went here with a buddy on a Friday night around midnight. There was no cover charge. There was about 20 guys in there around this time. Smiles is the type of club with a big rectangular bar and the stage behind it. There is two poles and stages and usually there is two dancers performing at the same time. After they dance, the strippers come around and collect tips, sometimes very annoyingly. There is always a free buffet, but I don't know if I personally would ever eat at an establishment like Smiles. If you choose to partake in the "free" buffet, the chef stands there and points to the tip jar. The bartender that was serving us was very nice and talkative. We enjoyed some great conversation. However, beers were very expensive (5.50 for a domestic).

The dancers are some of the worst I have ever seen. They were very average looking with only a few real hotties. Most are Russian/Ukrainian and some Latinos. There are a few local American girls. Some were very pushy for tips. I had my sights set on an American girl. Talked with her for a few minutes and realized she was pretty drunk. She smelled like she was hitting the bottle hard all night. She kept trying to sell me on a lap dance. At first I resisted, but I finally caved in. We went back to the "VIP" room, which was more like a storage room with an old couch. There was an old creepy man in there collecting the payment. $25 for a dance seemed a little high to me. During the dance, the old creepy man stayed in the room and supervised. This really ruined the mood for me. The dance was terrible, as the dancer was very intoxicated. Then she demanded a tip. This place just sucks the money right out of you. There is absolutely no "extras" at this club. I will not be returning to Smiles. I would not recommend this club as there are better clubs in the local area.
