Don't get me wrong, Beamers is a good club. The dancers are 7 - 9's, and are friendly. The club wants your money though. When you go in, cover was $10, but to get the full beamers experience, you need the "back" room, or VIP. That is an extra $30. There is another bar back in VIP with long couches. The dances cost the same $25, but are a little more intimate. The club is strict on number of songs, and there is no "hanging around" on the couch before or after a song, otherwise you will be charged. There is a two drink minimum which is standard. There are lot of investment bankers there due to the proximity to big firms, so the girls are used to $$$$. It is the best Stamford has though, so if you are in the area, it is worth checking out.
