I had a free afternoon while...

I had a free afternoon while traveling through Muskegon, so I stopped by on a Thursday afternoon as this was the only club in town open on an afternoon. There were cars in the lot, some guys coming and going. I went into the club area, music playing, lights flashing, totally empty. No patrons, no dancers. The stage was fairly small, the the whole area probably seated 20-30, not that it was needed today. It looked like it was designed a long time ago.

I went back out in the lobby, and in the little office the manager was loudly bitching out an off-duty dancer. I browsed the little store there to kill some time and see if anything was going to change. Eventually a girl that was dressed like a dancer (in a bikini with a g-string) wandered through and went out the door to talk to a workman outside. The girl getting yelled at left in tears. That was enough for me, I headed out, money intact as well as a wasted visit.
