Visited Houston recently on biz and had to see for myself if the legends of the Houston clubs was true. I chose The Gold Cup becuase of proximity to where I was staying, and I was not disappointed. The legend lives on. Basically, the rule is, "there are no (or very few) rules". Mileage is very good, and extras abound (for enough dances). Girls are friendly, not pushy. They will ask for the VIP, but do not make their circuit around the room with the standard, "Would you like a dance?" They will actually strike up a conversation before trying to set the hook. On average, I'd say most dancers are in the 7-8 range, with a few 6's and a few 9's sprinkled in for good measure. Everything from natural to pumped up boobs in all sizes and shapes. The ratio of dancers to patrons is very, very good. Did not avail myself of the "Champagne Balcony", but did not feel cheated in the standard VIP booths either. As far as I could see, there were no prying eyes looking for a wrist to slap. Good for a stop anytime you're in Houston.
