York is its own little notch in the bible belt. The best that can be said for this club is that it is a strip club standing up for our rights against strong odds. On the other hand, if there is any other strip club you can go to, go.

Stopped in after a long day because I was local, thinking I'd take one for the team. One waitress / bartender who had a nice smile and did her best to welcome me, but even her upbeat attitude had that "This place really does s*ck" undertone. The 3 dancers that rotated through 3 song sets were all happy to be working close to home and looked as if they spent most of their tip money (what little could be pried out of 5 patrons of Penna Dutch stock... they of deep pockets and short arms) down the street at the tattoo parlor. The tall brunette (Kim?) especially had that "look, I'm dancing almost naked here, what else do you want?" attitude.

All in all the sort of surreal experience where they pretend to dance, and we pretend that they're sexy, but no one is in any danger of getting excited.

It's an hour to Baltimore, less than that to Harrisburg. Unless you're trapped here like these girls, stay out of the club and the town.
