Visit was in early December 2010. This club is the former Diamond Jacks club and under new ownership and management. I never visited this club when it was Diamond Jacks so I can't really compare the before and after. The current club has a very classy interior with lots of wall mirrors and the typical cushy arm chairs you find in Phoenix area clubs. It's probably not usually fair to judge a club on a monday night visit but that's when I dropped by. There were about a half dozen dancers between 9 PM and 10 PM, and some of them normally dance at one or two other area clubs. In one example, a dancer was friends with the new management and was helping out. This evening the dancer lineup was roughly 1/3 black, 1/3 white and 1/3 latina. At that time there weren't any more than 6 customers including myself. The evening I was there there was a 2 for 1 for draft beer. I had a couple of dances which were Ok for Phoenix but the dancer in question tried to do some hard sell on the cost of dances. I feel it's normally unfair to judge a club with only one visit. Everyone else there treated me nicely and I'll be back to see how things develop.
