I decided to head out to the St. James around 9:30PM on Saturday. The club is located about 15 miles north of downtown Houston and is officially outside of city limits. Therefore, there are two major differences between this club and clubs inside of Houston: 1)The girls are topless and wear g-strings on the bottom; 2)Smoking is permitted inside the club. Number 1 is obviously a bonus but I wasn't to happy about number 2 - as a former smoker, I can no longer stand the smell of cigarette smoke.

The girls ranged from 5's to 8's - no ugly chicks but no top of the line lookers either. The place was pretty crowded but there are two levels to this place so there were always a few empty tables. Cover was $15; Beers $6.25.

All dances ($20/each) occur in private rooms at the St. James so I'm sure some 'funny' business happens from time to time - depends on the girl and your spending habits.
