I was in Detroit on Business...
I was in Detroit on Business & the Inkster strip was just down the street so I decided to check it out. Started & ended with Bogarts. Cover was $5 & they give you a ticket you have to give your waitress. Not sure what that's about. Drinks are high, mine was $9.25 & the dancer's was $9.50. Dancers are required to sell a drink quota for their shift, so you'll be hustled hard. The waitresses also constantly harass you for another drink & if you want to buy a drink for the lady. And I mean CONSTANTLY! It was really, really annoying! There is a bar in the back, and 3 stages in the front. I saw a cute brunette & tipped her, got a show & a feel for my buck. Off to a good start! She joined me at my table & was very friendly. Eventually I tried a VIP. $10 charge for a VIP wrist band that is good all night. Dances were $20 & very high mileage, but she really wanted to sell me "extras." After a bit of time here, it was clear that was on the agenda for many of the dancers. That's not my thing & I had work to do so I rolled on out of there without spending a fortune. But a good time could clearly be had if you wanted to spend.
