I've visited CHT a number of times, and this most recent visit didn't disappoint. I wasn't in a private dance mood so I spent all my time (and $$) tipping at the stage and still had a lot of fun. I believe there were 8 dancers that afternoon and all were in the 7 - 9 category. All were friendly and apparently enjoying their work on the stage (no bored looks or frowns). The dancers circulated regularly asking customers if they wanted private dances, but they were not the least bit agressive about it, and a polite "Thanks, maybe later" was all it took and she would leave with a smile and no hassle.

Cover charge during the afternoon was $20 which is $5 higher than I remember from previous afternoon visits, but you can get your hand stamped and leave and come back in as many times as you like until closing. CHT is not in the best area of town, but this part of Market St is safe enough in the afternoon and at least into the early evening. I've never been there late at night so I'm not sure about safety then. Great place, highly recommended.
