I traveled to London on business...
I traveled to London on business recently and before I left I did some research on the clubs in and around the city. Â I even contacted a member of this board about one of the clubs he wrote a review of after I down selected to just a couple of them. Â After he confirmed that Beavers, my first choice, was indeed worthy of a visit, I made plans to hit it before I left town.
You know what they say about "good plans" being doomed for failure and sure enough it was looking like all of my planing was going to be for naught when a major snow storm struck virtually paralyzing the region. Â But I persisted and after 5 trains and 2 taxi rides I made it to Watford and my hotel which was strategically located with in walking distance to the club.
The club opens up at 9pm and because it was Friday night I wanted to get an early start so I planned on being there at about 9:30. Â When I arrived I was greeted by a bouncer who promptly invited me inside and I paid no cover charge. The club is well lit and sports one main stage that is located front and center on the main floor. Paralleling it is a spacious bar sans bar stools so it is standing room only. Â The main stage juts out from the wall a good 20' and is equipped with a pole at its terminal end. The dancers enter from a room situated behind the wall so there are no awkward stage entrances or exits. Â All and all it is quite professionally done
