Kind of a delayed review, but...

Kind of a delayed review, but better late than never. I visited PH in September with a buddy from work. Heard great things about this club so we made the drive from Grand Rapids. After a disappointing visit to the Greektown Casino, we arrived at the club at about 10 PM.

A friend had recommended we tip the doorman for a good seat. We slipped him a $20 and got a small table next to the stage by the stairs at the far end opposite the bar.

We had a great view of the talent - nothing below a 7 in our opinion and plenty of 8's and 9's. Stage tipping isn't really a big thing here, as the stage is quite high (no real contact from the dancers while they are on the stage). With such a large stage there are always at least half a dozen dancers up there at a time, and they rotate every song. The only drawback here is that if you have your eye on one for the VIP you might have to wait quite a while until she is off stage.
