Stop by here periodically to look for a semi-crazy Laotian girl that used to work here when it was Pony Tails. The club is the definition of a dive. Small club and for whatever reason, I don’t believe I’ve ever paid a cover charge. Divided into two parts, you enter the bar area with a rectangular bar and low stage that parallels it. Second room is the couch dance area. The club is laid back, in expensive and low rent with an ethnically diverse variety of dancers and clientele. Dancers are lower end 3-6; some tend to be longer in the tooth and of questionable character. While I did not partake of any dances, the girl that hit on me said she heard that Pony Tails used to be a wild place. I don’t know if that means that the Alibi is not as wild or not but her sales pitch to get me in the back was that there are not any cameras. Like many Tampa clubs, this doesn’t do it for me but they do have alcohol, skanky women and low morals if that’s what you are looking for. Otherwise, give it a pass.
