This will be a brief review, as I didn't spend long in the club- but I should head back to check out LD soon.
This past Sunday, I went in briefly just to get the "lay of the land", as I'd never been in here before. I was downtown doing some shopping, and Little Darlings is a not-long walk from the Westlake Center plaza; if you walk on up Westlake past the McDonald's, it's only a couple of blocks. On the downside, there's not really much else right there that you could plausibly, as a single guy, be heading to do. :) (Compare this to the 1st and Pike Deja Vu, where you could until the last 50 feet be any old tourist or local Market shopper, until you quickly duck in to the Deja Vu). On the flip side, the LD has a lot of parking options around it, so if you're driving to get there you won't have an issue.
Anyway, the club itself is standard issue DV style; the main room has a single stage with those club-style chairs around it. There's two areas to get dances, a row of bench style seating and a VIP area with curtained sections. To be clear, these curtained sections don't look too private (although more so than the bench seating) and there are clearly cameras mounted above those as well. Those cameras make me nervous; presumably there's someone in a back room looking for problems, but what's to say it's not being recorded and stored? I guess the sheer amount of data is the only assurance they aren't archiving this indefinitely. Having been visited by the SPD a couple of years ago since, as a Rick's regular my CC was used at that club, I'm especially nervous about traceability.
