Believing that sooner or later Marilyn will be back, I treked to Gastonia to visit L&L, late enough in the afternoon to hang around until night shift visiting with the likes of Autumn and Danger, even if there was no Marilyn. Well, there wasn't any Autumn or Danger, either. There were three customers (and a couple more at the bar) and three skags old enough to remind me of a '50s burlesque show on skid row in downtown LA. God what a pathetic derth of talent. No way I was gonna waste $$ on that trio with no idea night shift wouldn't be as bad. They may have been exceptional in the VIP, I don't know, but I didn't have my blindfold with me. I stayed about 10 minutes and booked.
