This review is for a visit...

This review is for a visit about ten days ago. The Orange is located in the heart of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, an area reported to be the poorest postal code in Canada. After dark, swarms of homeless, druggies, crazies, and hookers lurk in doorways and alleys. But the main Vancouver Police Station is right across Main Street from the Orange. All that said, I felt perfectly comfortable visiting the Orange. It is in a high traffic area - cabs are easy to flag. Give a homeless guy a loonie and he will lay in the middle of Main Street to stop a cab for you! There is only street parking if you drive to the Orange and I would not advise that after dark.

I was already fairly juiced when I arrived so I was a bit sloppy about money. There is a cover charge in the evening but there is also a beer tub at the front door. $20 got me in and a cold Kokanee as well. I don't think the girl was happy with the tip (if there was any). The building is, I think, an old converted skid road hotel or rooming house. The main stage is in the centre of the room and there is a bar in the back. The bar is a good place to sit and scope out the girls as they come down from the dressing room upstairs and parade through the room hustling for lap dances. Lappers are $50/song!!! And one of the stage dancers I approached wanted $60. Yikes!!

Well, I did sample a few of the $50 variety. House dancer quality was very high as it was for the stage dancers. You go upstairs for the lappers - curtained-off couches for you and your chosen lady. All ladies whose talents I sampled were very generous with one way contact and good grinding. Generous tips prompted a pair of young ladies to allow me an intimate exploration of their "assets". These were the best lappers I have had in Canada west of Toronto and better than I have experienced in several midwest states. Most definitely YMMV in this club. One old Colombian veteran offered takeout for $500. Um, uh - NO!!
