I visit the Deja Vu -...

I visit the Deja Vu - Lakewood either once or twice a month, and up until now, always on Saturday. Here are the basics: $15 cover charge on Saturdays before 7pm (I tend to arrive between 5 and 7, so it may be less earlier in the day); $20 cover charge on Saturdays after 7pm. (The fee is described as $5 for unlimited non-alcoholic drinks and the balance for admission.) During the summer there was the option to pay an extra $5 for admission to the VIP section but this doesn't seem to be the case any longer. All entrants are now given a wristband that allows access to both the main, and VIP areas of the club. Same day in-and-outs (I have left for up to an hour before. It's easier to return after leaving for a substantial period of time if the doorman knows your face) are also included. Smoking is allowed outside the club, and most folks usually lite up near the entrance along the exterior wall of the club.

Once inside, the action tends to be pretty slow until the night shift girls start trickling in after 8, even though I think the shift technically starts at 7. And then the club doesn't usually get packed until after 9:30, in my experience. I like the slow pace of the club during the day shift, though, since there are usually only a handful of guys around and typically about 10 - 12 girls there. Later on in the evenings when they do the 3-song "dirty 30" dances you'll probably notice in excess of 30 girls. Getting a seat near the stage is easy before 8 and tipping will garner you lots of attention, especially if the club is low on customers.

I like the variety in the talent pool, and the music and clientele are also diverse. Black, white, asian, latin, skinny, or thick, there is something for everyone. The most, and most attractive, girls work night shift, but there are 3 absolutely gorgeous girls that tend to work during the day shift on Saturday. Unfortunately the prettiest day shift girl, in my opinion, gave me the worst lap dance I have ever had in Washington.
