I was here a couple of...

I was here a couple of months ago, so forgive me for not recalling exact specifics as regards the cover charge and dance fees... but I don't think I actually got to pay for any dances anyway, which we'll get to in a moment.

Got there around midnight, paid my cover, and went over to the main stage. There only seemed to be three girls on that night, and as one of them was off with her regular for most of the night, it fell to the other two girls to trade off, and eventually leave the stage barren for 15-20 minutes at a time. The main stage is this weird area that's not really raised and has a railing around it, almost like a horse corral. The rest of the club was pretty empty. I think one couple came in, played a round of pool on the table, and left.

All of the girls were pretty sour, but there was one girl whom I thought I might like to try at least one dance from. She seemed the kind of girl who might try a little harder, if you catch my meaning. I was talking to her, and she wanted to get a drink first. A lemon drop. Fine, I can play that game. But then another. And another, chased by a plate of buffalo wings. She kept insisting we'd get right to the dance as she got drunker and drunker, stumbling back to do her run on the stage. I finally gave up when another guy who just came into the place started trying to chat her up while she was sitting right next to me. I told her good night, and told the guy, "Good luck getting a dance out of her," before I walked out, vowing never to return to this hellhole.
