I stopped by to see how the remodel went. I was shocked. They didn't really change much: new carpet, new reflective face to bar & stage, some metal wainscotting, new tables & chairs, some more mirrors, and they moved the VIP from next to the stage to the backroom with the pool tables. The bathroom was remodeled as well, with diamond plate walls. Overall, the change was remarkable! It used to look like a corner bar from the seventies, now it looks like a small, upscale gentleman's club. BIG DIFFERENCE!

They even had better girls the night I was there. There were none of the ancient club girls that normally dominate the line-up. All the girls working were hot enough to find work in another strip club.

so far, so good. Outer Limits remains the only strip club with a bar in Des Moines. All the other clubs are BYOB.
