I returned to Expressions after a long hiatus. The grounds and the place were clean. I paid the ten dollars (WOW!) admission and coughed up another three for a can of pop-- no glass. (A plastic glass would have cut into their profit margin?) Although it was a topless-only place, no alcohol was available. The DJ still didn't have his act together since I had last been there. Although the room was less than a thousand square feet, he seemed to think that he needed to blast his unintelligible commentary to the small area. He swallowed the microphone introducing distortion. Consequently, his introduction of each of the girls was unintelligible. I suppose that the other things he had to say was unimportant...I guess we'll never know. There were four dancers. Thanks to the DJ, I did not learn the name of each, and only one introduced herself. All seemed younger than 22, but none of them was above a 6 in looks. I did learn that one was Violet, who could lose a few pounds but otherwise gave me a good personalized performance at my spectator's chair at the fenced-in dance area. Violet was the highlight of my evening. Another one was kind of dull and she did not seem at all pleased that I, or anyone else showed up. Another one reeked of cigarette smoke-- but that is not unusual for a place like this. I hope she doesn't read this review because then she will compensate by reeking of cigarette smoke mixed with perfume! The dances in the back room were 25 dollars or two for 35. I thought those prices were too high for a topless-only place. All in all, it was not an exciting place to go. There are many other gentleman's clubs that offer more for less. Me? I'll return, but not soon.
