Don’t Be Picky and Don’t Have High Standards

Passing through on US 30, I made my usual detour for a quick pit stop. I discovered this place approximately 30 years ago. However, it really declined when US 30 was rerouted. It has always been a stop for me on my way to or from Indiana.

Walked in and paid the $10 cover and was buzzed in. There was one other patron sitting alone with his face buried in his phone. I won’t go through the details of the layout; as I’m sure it is well covered in previous reviews.

I sat down and was nearly immediately approached by a dancer. She was a thick AA, late 20’s. She made some quick small talk and asked me if I wanted dances. I asked if she was the only one working, and she said yes because two others had called off, and one had left early.
