This place has closed, equipment has been removed. Doors locked, sign removed. The operator could not negotiate an acceptable lease with the building owner. Or at least that is the official explanation. Too bad, cuz it brightened up the campustown area of Ames when it was open.

One of the nicest/worst things about the campustown Dangerous Curves biz was they would shut down the alcohol operation at 2 pm sharp, but keep the doors open for people willing to imbibe water and soft drinks and ogle coeds in bikinis. No nudity - not even tits or pasties dammit - no BYOB & doesn't that suck. But hey if ya already got a buzz on ya can sometimes lower your expectations to the level where this place would meet them. Sadly that is all history now.
