Sorry for the late reply, don’t get here too much but researching for my next PDX trip next week… yes, it was definitely a solid door with a latch (immediately to the left as you’re looking at the bar, close to but not with the curtained booths to the right of the stage). I didn’t see cameras and didn’t ask, but it wouldn’t surprise me. However, they evidently didn’t care too much. I was shown by another dancer on a previous trip that they do have discrete alarm buttons in the curtained booths so I’m sure the other does too. Not that I’m too worried about that - I’m not pushy and like I said, my MO is to be polite and respectful and let her take the lead.
