@Papi_Chulo - I wasn't so much surprised by the action - I guess I just really liked the 2 girls LOL - but thanks for the info - since my ATF disappeared from Ultra, I'll try your Pompano options and report back.

Oh - and about the "rooms" - there is a row of booths adjacent to the dance floor / lounge chair area covered by big red curtains. Private with the curtain but anyone goofy could pull back the curtain at any time (and they are far from where management is). There are * however * "rooms" in the corners that I prefer. The best is the one way in the back past the little back bar. I don't think most people even realize it is there. There are others in the corner of the big bar across from the entrance. The one behind the back bar is the best.

"The vip dances are $250, with $200 of that going to the girl, and pretty much anything goes back there." can anyone tell me what the timer is in the VIP room? 15 minutes? 30?

More info: I'm not saying that this place has the "upscale" or "class" venue properties of say, "OZ" in Saint Petersburg. It's up to each patron to decide if "class" is a good thing or not - depends on what you are looking for. OZ always has lots of girls and good variety but the "freedom" in the clubs in the Tampa/St Peter area is, well, not as "free" as on the Atlantic coast of Florida. I could see someone perceiving Ultra as a bit of a "dive" but that never bothers me, in fact I kinda like it. The place seemed reasonably run, no-one hassled me, as long as I minded my own business no-one seemed to know I was there. There's a nice guy, mid-50s behind the back bar I like chatting with. @Dolfan - generally I try to stick with Friday and Saturday nights (no day shift) - wherever I am - day shifts (even on weekend) do not offer me the variety I am looking for - plus, the busier it is the more I can fade to the background until I spot a girl I like. I'd like to add this info to my review but there does not seem to be an "edit" option.

@desertscrub - comments of 'fake review' is not helpful to others - what criteria do you look for in a review that convinces you the reviewer has a positive experience? What else would you like to know?
