Follies was in ATL club that shut down a number of years ago. Sometimes a bit ghetto but it was one of the best bang for your buck clubs in the US.

I keep seeing comments about EI closing. I understand the county prefers for EI not exist, but have they taken action to get them closed or is this something the dancers or other who work there have indicated is imminent?

@funonthaside I know E can be hit or miss no matter what, but form your experience do you have a recommended day/time where the talent is a bit more favorable (dm is fine)?

I am new to EI but there really is no comparison in terms of value and mileage in the mid Atlantic. Echoing galabad’s review, I too heard dancers express frustration w/ a lack of paying patrons and I saw their point. On both nights I went EI was crowded but few were getting dances. Based on the talent on both nights, I can see why patrons were picky as well as there were some ladies you couldn’t pay me to get a dance from. I’m not sure prices would fix. I think it comes down to product (dancer effort or quality). At cheap LD places, effort is usually the driver. I am curious as to where the EI ladies would go if it closed.

What was the dancer to patron ratio (estimate) on Tuesday afternoon and how long did you stay? With 11-25 range in dancers, what were the mix in looks/body type? As a regular, are there afternoons/early evenings that are better than others?

Thanks for the heads up. I know there is inflation and this is the DMV but $30-40 for a lap dance (only) anywhere the talent isn’t consistent 8-10s is insane.

@funonthaside Thanks for the additional detail. What is the deal with VIP? I understand VIP section you pay $20 for access to the couches which are still in the open and you can get LDs. Then there’s another fee for a room? Why don’t the dancers promote it?

Haha Agree about wanting the songs to end sooner sometimes. I actually ended one dance midway b/c ol girl was basically clubbing me with her butt.

I forgot to say: Unlike Showcase or the old Fuego, Ebony Inn is not a full nude club. The dancers wear bikinis / swimsuits. One girl I danced with had on the equivalent of workout gear, which was a first for me.

From my visit a few weeks ago, ets is right regarding the small room VIP option ($165). The upstairs VIP rooms at $600-650 have doors for privacy, but that rate only covers the room, not extras. To each their own, but at the rates I was quoted, you can arrange for a much nicer time outside of the club for less.
