Yeah, I mean, this place is not standard and kind of defies some of that, like you said.
Mileage has varied by dancer. Overall, it has historically been very high, two-way and beyond, perhaps. I can't speak much to it since the pandemic BS, since all I really did was an impromptu last-minute dance.
The dance area is curtained with an opaque curtain, has a window to the out of doors, is about 6 feet from bar stools but private enough. Wooden bench, I honestly don't remember whether padding was involved. Given the lack of recollection, it's safe to assume it isn't anywhere near the plush territory. If one is waiting on a hip replacement or suffers from lack of ass syndrome, it may not be particularly comfy, but it doesn't register much to me.
