Sad news, they just sent out a email saying that they are closing. They had a good run, but nothing good last forever. Lots of good memories there, will be missed

This is pretty funny, thinking the conversation is staged. Hey I’m a huge fan of lido, I recently joined tuscl to find out what their story is as they recently canceled their last few events. Who is PlatinumNYC to know so much about lido to make these assumptions? If you know more about lido status, please share, it’s all I’m asking

So until lido reopens, are people just going to CLVT? What’s that place like?

I actually really like lido and not the Paul character. I really don’t hope it’s closed but noticed that they had to cancel the past few events and blamed it on venue renovations. I just join recently to try to see if that is in fact the case. If calling $18 drinks slander than I’m guilty, but will pay the price because I don’t want to leave

It looks as if here was no “event” the last 3 days (thurs-sat), and for one of the day they blamed the venue for the cancellation. Can anyone verify if it was shut down?

Went to CLVT tonight for the first time. Having experienced Lido and SVT is guess I had my hopes up, the place, for a quick review, was horrible. I went to the location on 30th, and the venue was super small. It was almost like a night school basement party. Maybe 20guys were there with only 10 girls. I was embarrassed that I brought a friend there. Although I did make him fully aware we were doing a recon mission to see if there was a good lido replacement. I did rsvp which got me a free drink and dance ticket which was good. But after 1 hour we were out of there. When to Ricks to salvage the night. Asking story short, avoid CLVT.
