Sorry, but I ain't done putting y'all to sleep. Jim emerged from from the '60's turmoil at SF State, if not Ground Zero for student rebellion, then close. Jim Ground 3 Yards; he was going to make movies. And if you expect me to say that he got detoured from his goal by strip show stuff, no he didn't. He made movies, and they were groundbreakers, unlike the old school porn featured in masturbatoriums from sea to shining see. Hunter Thompson was their night manager. Sean Penn and Nick Nolte were patrons. And yes he shot Artie, a decent fellow with a horrible drug problem that had the MBOT employees super-scared. So sad and painful for all. I've wandered a little far afield from the issues raised by my commenter, and perhaps condescendingly assumed he did not know the story behind the story. If so, I apologize, and even if not so I don't want to fight with someone with whom I share interests. But I don't think it's right to attack me because I have but a single review. The number of reviews one has written for TUSCL says nothing.

While some would recoil at the idea that Jim and Artie did double duty at pornographers and counter culture rebels, that's what he did
