A visitors perspective for what would (probably) be one of the better clubs in the area. Group of friends and I decided to pay a late-night visit on a Saturday. $25 cover for entry. They made us wait behind a velvet rope after we paid for some bizarre, unknown reason, but the staff we're friendly and professional. Despite the fairly large but expected crowd for a Saturday, the Admiral has a very open setting, with chairs and tables all around so it never felt claustrophobic. One main center stage where a girl will perform for your standard 2-3 songs, and then rotate to two other small stages on opposite sides. Waitress came by promptly and took our drink order. Now, I can't fault the club directly, as I was aware going in that Chicago's laws are just garbage when it comes to nudity and alcohol, but paying $7.50 for a ginger ale is a little exorbitant. Dancing on the stage was solid, music was a great rotation and not just the same song every dance (bonus points for playing Tool). Girls regularly approach you and start some small talk, but it's down to business shortly after, and they aren't going to waste time if they can make money elsewhere. Masseuses come by pretty regularly and offer massages: price IIRC was $10/song. Price for a 'standard' private dance that night was 3 songs for $75, not terrible considering the overall quality of the club and dancers. I got one from Gypsy that night, and I thought it was money well spent: not the best I've ever had, but definitely not the worst. Hard to say right now if I were to go back. Biggest pro is that the girls are all quality, average 7.5-8.5. Best was a 9+. It just felt very cut-and-paste. It didn't grab me from leaving or beg me to stay. I was comfortable leaving when I did, which was a first.

Wow. Where to start. In Asheville for a day, was in the mood, and sauntered over to The Treasure Club. From the exterior it looks like your average place, I got in free due to a promotion they were doing. When you walk in the bar area is immediately to the right and most of the 'club' is straight ahead with a private area off to the left. I emphasize "club" because the interior looks anything like it. Just goofy decorations, with chair you could pick up at the local Wal-Mart. It looked clean enough, but that was because the lights were too bright and it was a little too easy to see everything. I sat down with my drink to see what this place had to offer, and within five minutes a very friendly and very intoxicated fellow patron decided we needed to be best friends. It got old very fast. Thankfully a dancer noticed my plight and distracted him enough, and he was escorted out of the club. The drinks weren't overpriced though, and the dances were manageable value-wise. As for the dancers, well, most are average to below average. Unfortunately there was one there that shouldn't be in the profession. Some guys may have a BBW thing, but I actually had to look away when she was on stage. The saving grace for this club was one extremely cute, girl-next-door dancer from East Tennessee who was my companion for the night. Tight body, gorgeous fact, proportionate naturals, with a sweet southern accent. She was also a great at keeping a casual conversation, and didn't really seem to care if I got a dance from her or not. She salvaged the night from falling in the disappointing category. I got a private dance from her in your standard, booth's lined up next to each other "private" room. There's a bouncer watching from the entrance that ensures no contact is made, so some of the potential passion is lost to that. But it definitely wasn't a total loss. If I happened to find myself in Asheville again at some point I don't think I'd go back. Maybe for the entertainment factor? Otherwise I can't see myself paying a visit again.

Platinum Yuma review
Decided to check out Platinum during a stay in Yuma. Upon a $10 cover charge entry, the club itself has a single main bar, with a main stage off to the left, lots of seating, and a VIP area for private dances off to the right. Because it was still early in the night I was not surprised that I was one of 5 patrons, but it picked up as the night went on. I ordered a drink from the bartender, my usual Budweiser, and paid a reasonable $5. I took a seat off to the side to take in the atmosphere and survey the surroundings. The chairs are comfortable, with 4 surrounding a table. There's TVs set up on both sides of the main stage; sometimes they are showing the music video to the song their playing, sometimes it's a generic silhouette of a computerized exotic dancer. Later during the stay they turned one of the TVs to a college football game. The club is clean, open with a relatively high ceiling, and mirrors on the walls. I always look to make sure that the lighting is the right balance for an enjoyable experience, and they had it set perfectly-not too bright, but not pitch black. Bouncers, door cashier, bartenders are all very pleasant and accommodating. The bathroom is clean, with multiple functioning stalls. As the night went on a cocktail waitress came on shift to offer shots of various liquors, but she was genuinely interested in chatting up the customers and not just peddling drinks. The girls are what you would expect for a place like Yuma. During my Saturday early evening visit there were initially 5 girls, with 1 always on stage for 3 songs, and 3 more came in during my few hours there. While there were no future supermodels dancing that night, there were also no train wrecks. Majority of them were either white/hispanic/mix, with one black girl dancing that night. The majority of girls I had come up to me that night made it an overall enjoyable experience. I had one girl approach me numerous times and get pushy about giving me a private dance, and she got snappy when I repeatedly denied her, but she was the outlier. I ended up receiving a private dance from 2 of the girls. The private VIP dances were $30 per song, with no minimum purchase required. They both asked at the end of every song if I wanted them to continue, which I thought was professional of them. 1 of the dances was pretty run of the mill, the other was very passionate, and she put a lot of effort into ensuring that I received a good club experience. Is Platinum my favorite strip club? No, but it is an overall enjoyable experience for the paying customer, and if in Yuma again I would return.
