I miss J’s also. An LDK was a sure thing, and they usually had one or two dancers that were desirable. One Step Beyond was great also, back in the day. The concept started at regular Chicago bars that would have lingerie shows for a few hours, one or two times per week. Scantilly clad women would stand between your legs, tell you about their outfit, and sell you a lottery ticket to win a prize. Later on, they stopped the lottery ruse and just started doing lap dances for a donation. Five to ten dollars would get you an LDK.

Clubs could change to the St. Paul style with girls behind glass, or the old fashioned jack shacks. Do those still exist?

I would like to see the Top 40 list return. I used to plan my travel around it.
