To correct myself, some of the clubs do have dancers who dance topless, but not all of them

I agree that The Body Shop is not usually a very exiting place to go. Downtown you can only choose between there and PT's. PT's has a lot more action, better looking girls, a cover charge and "private shows" that are not all that private. Having said that there are a couple of things that I would point out:
Every club that serves alcohol in Louisville is bikini only. Once the county and city merged, the county folks quickly imposed their morals on all of us and nudity and topless came off the table. Clubs can lose their liquor license for that.
In many (but not all) of the Louisville clubs it is common to circulate after dancing to ask for a tip (typically $1), especially if customers cannot sit up at the stage, but have a bar separating them from the dancers.
Prices for "private dances" are roughly comparable...one or two songs for $20-$30. Depending on the club, those dances may include topless, bottomless, touching/groping, all depending on the dancer, the club rules, and the tip you are willing to provide. I personally don't consider them worth it, but that's just me.
The Body Shop usually has one pretty dancer, one so-so, and one or two who should have stopped dancing 30 years ago or 50 lbs ago. Different clubs vary a bit.
If you have a car, you can try out 7th street where the clubs are a little bit lower class but in some cases more "interesting".

Was there again last night. My preference is for Caucasian women (a remnant of growing up in an all white neighborhood I guess), so I mostly hang out at (in order of preference) the Harem, the Red Room, The Pussycat, Occasionally the up and downstairs Jewel Box, and the Midway (to take a break from being hustled). Went to all of those again last night. Fewer girls in all, fewer good looking (TO quality) girls in all, and fewer customers. Well I guess it was a Sunday. But I did get offers for TO from a few, but did not "close the deal". Oh well, back again tonight. I did have to walk out from a couple of clubs due to drama, but came back later.

No. Absolutely not. I’m not from any where near Baltimore. I just come here every few months and I have no interest (financial or otherwise) in any club. If you have any doubts look at some of my other posts
