Majority of my strip club experience have been for occasions like bachelor parties or birthdays. That being said, the penthouse club and coliseum are the only two detroit clubs i've visited since moving here not too long ago. Thanks to a recently single friend i discovered the magical places that are the strip clubs of motor city.

My first visit to coliseum was on a wednesday evening right before the shift change. I tagged along mostly for the dinner since i've heard good things about the food at coliseum. However i found myself enjoying the club more then i expected and ended up staying longer then intended. It was not busy but there were at least 5 girls on the stage.

The club layout is ideal in my opinion since no matter where you sit you will always have a view of at least 3 dancers in your view. Booths for private dances are on the smaller side (i'm claustrophobic)but plenty of privacy. Bathroom is nice and huge. The one thing that bugged me was that our booth were right under an air vent blasting ac on full speed. It was freezing.

Price wise, mandatory valet is 7, a big portioned steak sandwich is 10, beer prices are good but drinks are on the higher end. Not sure about cover since i went before 7. Dances are 25 a song.

Service wise, the two waitress we had seemed annoyed/pissed but were still very attentive to our booth. Shot girls were annoying with their hustling since we clearly said we cant drink (health reasons).

Talent wise, generally 6-8s with a few 9s. The few girls that approached were nice and friendly even when we turn them away. However, majority of the girls on the stage seem bored and were just shaking their ass with absolutely no enthusiasm. Although there were one or two girls with some wicked pole tricks. I do noticed sometimes the dancers will stay on stage for an extended length so you'll see the same girls for 4-5 songs before they switch.

I know 'extras' are rampant in detroit clubs but i had no interest. One dancer did offer FS for 200 at the end of a dance. In summary, it is still one of the funnest strip club trips i've taken.
