Too Early to Tell...
I was coming off the road around 6:30pm after a long drive and saw that the club opened at 6:00pm. I was ready for a cold one and to enjoy looking at something other than the view out the windshield. The club was easy to find and there was plenty of free parking at this early hour.
The girl at the front desk needed to scan my license and asked for a $10 cover. I thought that was unusual for such an early hour, but no big deal, I was thirsty.
The club itself looked nice. Bar to the left with plenty of seating, very comfortable chairs and tables on the floor. A main stage and at least one satellite.
I sat at the bar and looked around. The first thing I noticed was that there was no bartender - there were no waitresses - there were no dancers. OK, it's early. I waited, and waited, and waited. I did see a guy sitting in what looked like a back service area playing on his phone, but I couldn't catch his attention. Somewhere into the second or third song without seeing anyone, I went back to the front desk and asked for a refund. The girl at the desk got on her mobile, and called the manager.
Heather, the manager came out with the bartender and apologized. She was very pleasant and gave a refund with no problem. She said she was having an all hands meeting in the back and again apologized. I didn't say anything about maybe having those meetings before the doors opened because, after all, it is a strip club and dancers aren't always known for punctuality.
As Heather was so pleasant, I will return to the club another night - a little later next time, and take her up on her offer of a free drink for the inconvenience.
I'll send in a more meaningful review after the next visit.
