So I had been to this place a long time ago, definitely more than 2 1/2 years so decided to visit one fine week night around 7pm. For those who are new here, this club is located at the corner of 54th and Haverford and quite easy to spot when you get there. I was able to find street parking not too far away from the entrance but there is always that doubt when you park in the area (although I didnt have any issues even last time). Anyway, as I walked in I noticed that there was no security guy like last time at the front door waiting to pat me down as I entered. So the way this club is set up is that you walk into a smallish bar with a bunch of bar stools lined up and music playing, it was dark and I did not see anyone dancing here. Well then there is also an upstairs which you can get to if you make a right as soon as you enter the business. In my case, there was a guy standing right there who asked for a $10 cover before I could go up. Upstairs is more spacious in my opinion, a biggish room as you enter with a small bar at the other end and some stools surround it. The layout is interesting as you walk to the bar, there is a wooden bench that almost runs across the length of the hall and a stage with poles and a large mirror opposite to it. It was really hot outside so they had it nice and cool upstairs. I saw a couple of ladies hanging out with one of them kinda slow dancing on the stage, she was tall and pretty but I never got her name. I sat at the bar and have to say the bar tender was one of the coolest and chillest I have come across in a long time, as a whole really loved the vibe of the place as I saw what I assume were about 4- 5 regulars hanging out. Ok so now like I said, there were two women on this floor which was a bit disappointing to begin with, only got worse in the beginning because one of them went downstairs almost immediately and never came back. The tall one left dancing was of AA origin, slimish and kinda beautiful. She danced half heartedly for a few songs and I was about to contemplate leaving early when I saw another dancer walking in. Her name was Choc and she was a high 8 in any club you walk into, so I was a bit surprised to see her at this place. Anyway, she sat around having a couple of drinks and then a patron sitting on that wooden bench asked her for a dance or many. IMHO she was incredible, AA all natural with a nice fit bod, not too thick not too slim types. Apart from her the only dancer there was the tall one who eventually managed to walk up to me and asked if I wanted any dances, which by the way are $5 per song. I did get a few with her but they were so so, I was sitting at the end of the bar and they dont really have a separate area for dances. So while ymmv with a dancer, I am not sure how much liberties can one take with people literally a feet or so away. The place was starting to pack up and there were about 10 patrons now, almost all of them seemed like regulars. Anyway,I had to wait about 10 songs before Choc approached me and I was in a way waiting for that. I must have gotton about 8 - 10 dances from her myself and she was amazing. Allowed hands pretty much any where and always up for nice conversations which is a plus I think. Had a few drinks with her too and as I was about to wrap up my visit, I noticed that they have a private room in the back of the bar to which you need to get a key and pay at the bar up front. Reason I noticed, was because I saw the tall dancer taking someone to the back room with her. I have absolutely no idea what the rate is for using it and for kind of privacy you would have back there but it seemed like a closed door room to me. Oh well, next time perhaps. All in all, the place was really nice and laid back and people here were very chill. They were laughing, joking, drinking and the bar tender and the way she interacted with the patrons was only a bonus. I got a couple of beers as well and they were $5 if I remember correctly. But I was certainly disappointed with the lack of options, maybe because it was a week night. I dont know but I definitely want to be back and report on this again. It spent almost an hour here and there were not more than 3 dancers upstairs the whole time, while there was easily more than a dozen patrons or so by the time I left. Maybe it gets better later in the night.

Went in on a Thursday evening between 7 -8 and I will only give a brief idea of the layout since it has been discussed here quite a few times. A nice big place, on the right there is a biggish stage in between surrounded by a bar with plenty of seating all around it. On the left, a couple of small stages with a separate area for couch dances. I have to say even though the club was mostly quiet, there was a nice selection of women, mostly Caucasian but also a couple of latinas. Most were nice 7s and I do not think there was a real eye grabber among the lot. The usual was every woman doing a couple of dances on the stage followed by them going around saying Hi . I was among 4 other patrons in the club but some how apart from a regular perhaps, none of the girls seemed interested in talking or mingling with other patrons. I was there for about 30 mins or and almost all of the women were either on their phones or chatting amongst themselves. Anyway, finally a nice curvy latina (forget her name, but dont worry you are not missing much) approached me for a chat and after a few mins since I had made up my mind to leave already, I asked her if we could go for a dance. Just so that the night was not a total loss, but well even though we were the only ones in the dance area, her dancing could be barely called dancing. It comprised of her sitting on my lap facing away and just grinding a little, I was certainly starting to regret even that $20 that I was gonna spend on her. Anyway, paid my tab both in the room and the bar and left soon afterwards. I am not sure if I am going to try this place again, strangely women were fine just that maybe the place is a little too relaxed for my liking.

So I was curious to check this place out because of the glowing reviews this club has gotten on and off over the past couple of years. I usually tend to stick to clubs in Philly but have been to a few around in NJ as well. Stepped in on a Wednesday night, around 11 ish and the place was mostly dead. Wont be going over the layout details, it has been covered over and over again but will add that even though there was not much going on, the atmosphere was nice and relaxed and I got immediate attention at the bar. Now lets come to the dancers, well like I said above not much going on at all in that dept, barely 2 or 3 ladies working at that time, or at least that many I saw before I headed out. Very very avg in the looks dept which is what surprised me considering what I have read about this place in the past. All of them were 6s and I am being nice there. Anyway, there were a couple others who were not even seen on the stage once because they were sitting around with their regular which I get i guess. Maybe a really really slow day but I am hoping to go back in there in a couple of weeks perhaps a little earlier to see if it gets better.

Went in around 5pm on a Wednesday and even though there were 3 - 4 dancers around, the place was barely kicking. Obviously it is not the best time to go to a club like that, but I would have expected a better vibe and livelier women. The physical layout has been described a lot, so I will skip that part, I sat at the rear end (if seen from the entrance) of the giant bar and was never approached by any of the dancers that were working. I did see a couple of them just hanging out with regulars and a dancer rotating but thats about it. They were probably around 8 - 9 patrons all sitting around the bar area. The place is huge though and nicely maintained. Now as far as the women are concerned, there was 1 latina but the rest were white and about 7s to be fair. Maybe they were getting started or something but in totality, everyone there was flat, something I would expect after a long weekend night. Going by the reviews, looks like it was just a bad day, so I am definitely willing to come back and give this club another shot.

Well the layout and physical details of the place are well explained so I will skip that part. This was my first time visiting this club and I went in around 5ish on a wednesday, not much happening when I entered. They did have about 4 dancers present with one "dancing" on stage but I could tell as soon as I stepped in that it way too early for this place. Dancers were mixed with a couple of white gals in there and all were around 6's except one who was a WOC stunner. Gorgeous face and a nice natural body. Dancers here get nude by the time their 2nd song plays and this mid 20s something did her best to get me to take her back because thats what she kept whispering in my ears as I went near to tip her. There were about 3 patrons when I entered and soon I was the only one. I did get a dance which was very uninspiring but I can say that this place has potential as I got the feel talking to a couple of ladies that extras were on offer, just that I came in at the wrong time. Would love to give it another shot, but definitely not that early in the evening

Stopped by after a while on a Wed evening around 6 and boy it was a sausage fest in there. Layout has been discussed plenty of times and so has been the physical shape of the club, needless to say it needs a lot of work. But the women here (woc mostly) made up for it. But last couple of times, they didnt even have a dancer on stage. This review is specifically for the last time I went there on a wednesday. Sat for around 10 mins before they managed to get a dancer on stage, there were about 6 - 7 patrons sitting at the bar including me and there was one other girl who sat there with a regular all the time. Never saw any other girl walk out of the back area of even replace the gal who was on stage. The two women I saw here, 6's but I never got a chance to sit and talk with either of them. I sat for about 25 mins in total, drank a couple of beers and left with almost all my money in the pocket.

First of all, I was not aware that the club opens late, it practically opened at 6:30 pm and this was a Wednesday. Anyway, I went in around 6:45 or so and even though the place is small, I was pleasantly surprised by the laid back and chill atmosphere. The layout has been discussed often, but for benefit of newbies, it is basically size of a large living room with one bar towards the corner. Seats surround a pretty accessible stage. So since they had just opened up, there was just me and 1 more patron with one girl dancing on the stage, she was a latina with a nice booty and just when I thought thats about it, they bring out the 2nd and then the 3rd and 4rth girl on stage rotating after a couple of songs each. All of them WOC but damn they knew how to own the stage. The dancers were pretty friendly and I got a dance from a nice well built 8/10 chick who did an awesome job. I didnt ask for any extras so I am not sure if they were available, but the lap dance are barely private so I am not sure how they would be offered anyway. I was the only guy in the lap dance room, which is basically 3 couches in a closed in area separated by curtains from the main hall. Overall, the thing that impressed me was the chill vibe and a non rushed attitude of the dancers who were working there. Even though there werent many patrons around, I was never jostled for anything by any of the dancers. Oh and one more thing, you can approach the stage freely and tip the dancers you know where and they didnt seem to mind

I ended up visiting the Penthouse club on a Wednesday afternoon around 3pm and was blown away with the interior of the club. This place is huge, very nice inside but was mostly empty. I suppose that can be expected on a weekday afternoon, but even the main stage did not have anyone dancing in the beginning. Later on, they did manage to have at least one girl up there. There were about 6 - 8 patrons including me and all sat around the bar which is the first thing you will see when you walk in. Much has been said about the layout so I will skip details, but basically two levels, very plush inside and two bars, one at every level. Their lapdance setups and private rooms are on the 2nd level. Good thing is they have an elevator :) So when I entered, there were maybe 1 or 2 dancers mingling with the patrons, but after about 20 mins or so, 3 - 4 girls came out and one of them would always be on the main stage while others hung out at the bar etc What surprised me though was the quality of the girls, they were all high 8s and coincidentally all of them were all natural (which I like). I got dances from a couple of them, their lap dance set up consists of semi private couches which have curtains for privacy and the 2nd level was darker. Dances were great for me, specially with a White mid 20s spinner (dont recall her name) but she had short hair and a toned body. Full on touching, groping and maybe even a little extra. But I seriously think YMMV. I will definitely recommend going there specially, if you are looking to go to a club early evening, like I said I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of girls even during these dead hours, but I wish they have more dancers on staff during weekdays specially before 6pm. Has to be one of the nicest clubs in Philly though, very well maintained.

This is a long overdue review, I visited the club about 3-4 weeks ago for the first time and have to say, was pleasantly surprised after the sketchy entrance and the overall look of the place. When you walk in, pay the cover, you are treated to a sight of two bars almost running parallel. Thats about it when it comes to the layout, but the atmosphere and the people running the place were fun and made you feel welcome. There were about 7 to 8 dancers all women of color and a smallish stage with a pole where one dancer was almost always "performing" Drinks were not bad for the price and they had good service too. The only thing strange was that the club does not have a proper place to get your lap dances, either you get them right there at the bar on a stool or wrap around the wall couch surrounding the bigger bar, so not much when it comes to privacy. The thing I liked was that everybody was very relaxed and I was not heckled for either tipping or dances, but there were two very attractive looking younger dancers who I had my eye on and got a chance to talk with. Dances are $10 and ymmv, mine was good from one and ok from the other. A whole lot of touching all around which is always good :0 All in all, a nice relaxed place where you would want to hang out even if you're not getting dances. Would definitely recommend, but if you are looking for upscale ambiance maybe this is not the right place for you.

This latest visit was probably my 3rd time but after almost an year and boy things seemed to have changed. I went in on a Thursday around 4pm or so and to be honest the place was dead. There was maybe a couple of guys sitting at the bar and even though the service at the bar was OK, the girls themselves were either very reluctant to come up on the stage to dance or were preserving their energies for the night rush. Anyway, after I sat and got my drink, I started seeing a couple of ladies doing the rounds around the club but none that would peak my interest. All in all, I probably saw maybe 5 or 6 ladies in the club in total which is far too less for a club this size. All women were AA and to be fair, two of them did come around eventually to talk and offer their wares but nothing out of the ordinary. I did however go for a dance, it was $20 in a common room with all the couches in dreadful condition, mileage was average as well. There was not too much interest shown by any of the women to a few patrons there so I was out after about an hour. Physically, the club has a nice format, with a biggish stage in the center (with 3 poles) and a bar surrounding the stage, at all times there was 1 girl dancing there. There's plenty of seating and they also have private rooms which I was told cost $30 per song. Not a bad experience but must say that I was expecting more based on my previous visits where there would be any where from 10 - 12 girls hanging out at the bar at least. Probably not a place for someone who is looking to stop by in the evening, places like Oasis are better for the late afternoon traffic.

I went in one Thursday early eve and was directed to the upper level of the club. It is a 2 level house converted to a club. Neighborhood is kinda shady and not too well lit after dark, so I guess you street park at your own risk. I was asked to pay $5 cover and noticed 4 - 5 dancers with a pole at one end of the room. There is a smallish bar close to the pole and a couple of other patrons. Things here are very simplified, there are no couch dances, there is an option of getting a dance (more of a grind) at the bar on one of the stools or sit and a bench facing a dance floor and pole. All the dancers were WOC and the dances were $5 each, which was not bad, but everything is out in the open so the mileage strictly depends on the girl. The bar tender there greeted me with a smile which is welcome and the whole atmosphere is laid back. Girls were a little pushy but that is probably because I was the only other patron in the club, all in all the quality was women was just average. One dancer was a sweet looking 20 year old who danced for me with a smile on, but that was about it. Nothing to write home about but the dances are cheap and I was allowed generous touching. I will not recommend going to this place, specially during the weekdays, maybe it is better on Fri or Sat

The club is situated in an industrial neighborhood but has a huge parking. I was there around 9pm and realized later that they had just opened then. There were about 6 - 8 dancers and it was a nice mix with a few WOC dancers as well. The rules are pretty simple, if you are sitting besides the stage, they will rotate amongst themselves and dance, most of them would get fully nude and then come around for tips. Upon entrance you are handed over a few coupons for beer and thats about it. Maybe it was early in the night, but things were kinda flat, I stayed for about 45 mins or so and hung out with a couple of dancers and they told me things get a lot more interesting later. I did not get a dance as the quality of women was so so. There was one smoking hot latina but she danced and then hung out with a regular all the time I was there so did not get a chance to go for a dance with her. All in all, I think you should skip this club unless you are going to be there at least around 10:30 or so. The vibe was ok and the club was clean so thats a plus.

Hi All, went to Club Onyx after reading quite a few reviews for this club. I was there on a Wednesday night around 10pm and the place was almost dead. There were maybe 5 other patrons and 4 - 5 dancers with one on the stage while others were lounging about. Maybe it was just my bad luck or the fact that it was a week night or bit of both. Dancers were all WOC and were just OK overall, nothing too spectacular , the bat tender was super nice though and drinks weren't as expensive as I thought they would be at this club. I stayed for about 40 mins or so, had a couple of drinks, tipped some dancers and that was about it. I will not recommend this place on a weeknight considering I have been to a few other clubs on weeknight and they are not usually as barren as this place was. Overall, nice club though with appropriate security.

So after reading some of the reviews here, I went down to check out Piccadilly on a Wednesday night and have to say that it was an OK experience. You have to find a small door bell which you ring for a few secs so that they can buzz you in and you pay a cover charge. There were about 6 dancers in the club with 5 - 6 patrons. I was there for about an hour. First off, this is a smallish place with two bars (one was closed) and only one really small stage with a pole. All the dancers (all WOC) took turns on that stage. Now lets come to the ladies themselves, surprisingly, all but one were in good shape and interacted well with the few of us there. The atmosphere is very friendly among the staff, dancers etc. Drinks were reasonable too. The part I did not like was the fact that there is no privacy what so ever if you chose to go for a lap dance as they give dances in the room adjacent to the main bar on benches and bar stools. The mileage was good too. All in all, go try it out specially on a weekend.

So I was curious about this place and wanted to check it out based on the reviews of this site. I wasn't sure what to expect for a $5 lap dance and just had to go there and see. Not a big space at all, just the size of a biggish living room with a bar on one side and a couple of poles in the middle. There is a bench across the living room facing the poles. Went on a Thursday eve, and there were about 5 girls with none on the pole, lap dances here are actually $5 and given on bar stools. All the ladies were WOC and I got a few dances from a slightly older lady who was ok to look at. She was bottomless and barely wore anything on the top but rest of the girls were either topless or in their lingerie. As you would expect, there is no privacy at all, but the dances were ok. I think this place is worth a shot specially on a Sat evening.

This is definitely my go to club in Philly. I have been here 3 times now latest being on a Friday evening couple of weeks ago. I was in at around 4:00pm and there were about 6 - 8 dancers with one on the main stage. Others were doing their rounds. All girls were of Af American ethnicity and most of them were friendly. Almost all of them came to talk with me and a couple of them were really nice. They have $20 & $30 lap dances, latter are in a smallish but closed room and I went for both. I have to say ladies are much more relaxed and willing to do more in the $30 cabin, but $20 lapdance wasn't bad. Overall a nice place where you will always find multiple options to chose from even early evening on a weekday.

Was on a business trip last month and decided to visit this club. Went there on a Sunday eve so the place was not that crowded but what impressed me was the fact that they still had quite a few dancers on the floor. They were riding the pole on 3 different stages. This is a non nude strip club and the upstairs was shut down because it was a Sunday, which was a bit of a buzz kill, but overall my experience was top notch because of the ladies. One 20 something approached me and stayed with me all night long. Dances are $25/song but def negotiable. Her name was Ecstasy/Sasha and by the time we were into the 2nd lap dance, she was into me. Had a great time with her and loved her attitude and skills. I would recommend going here if you like Hip Hop, this is a predominantly black club. Space wise, the place is huge with plenty of parking too.

Hey guys, went to this place a couple of times, on Friday eve and Sunday night. The place is actually big for a Providence Strip club. 2 levels each have a full bar and lap dance area + priv rooms. The upper level is a nude floor, with nude dancers. So I guess you can go to the 2 level straight away. It was not too crowded on a Fri evening and both stages had at least a dancer every time. I mostly hung around on the 2nd floor and there were a couple of nice girls up there. However, the over all quality of girls at this place was average. I am not sure about Sat night, but the dancers and girls on the floor during Fri eve and Sun night were just about ok. There was this girl Fantasy who gave me a hell of a lap dance when I was watching her on stage. There was no other patron sitting at the stage at that time, so I guess I got lucky. So bottom line, go there on Fri evenings around 7 pm, the place is just about starting to fill up and you can get attention of girls very easily. Drinks are ok, but pricey. Paid $10 for a Vodka Red bull.
