I found myself near Canoga Park...
I found myself near Canoga Park on a Monday afternoon, and, thanks to a good night of poker with the boys the night before, I also had some extra cash in my pocket. I do like the Godfathers in Van Nuys, but have never been to this one. I figured, now was a good as a time as any, so why not? Parking is on the street only, but, even on on a weekday afternoon there were plenty of spots. I paid my $10 cover and walked in. First, I was amaazed at how dark the place was. I mean it took al least a minute for me to really be able to see anything. When I was able to see, I still couldn't see much because of just how dark it was. Once I could see, I scoped out the place. Round stage in the center of the room with a very little bit of "extra" light over it and some multi-color lazer pointer type lights dancing all over it, and that was the only thing dancing on the stage. There was one other customer in the place, and he had a dancer sitting next to him. I sat down, and a dancer, presumably the only other one in the place, came up and sat next to me. See was a petite Latina with a great body. After a VERY little small talk, she hit me up for a dance. I know from my experience at the other Godfather location to expect short songs and possibly a high mileage dance. I also assumed, like the other location, the dance would be in a relatively well lite area. Well, I was right about the short songs. To "try her out" I went with a 6 for $60 "special". We didn't go into a vip room but rather a booth along the back wall. The booth has curtains, but they were only parially closed. I got in and sat down and the girl followed. She was 2 feet from me, but I couldn't even she it, because it was so fucking dark in the booth. The first song start and she climbed on and started grinding. So far so good (other than the fact that I couldn't see her). I put my hands on her waist, and she pulled them off. From that point to the end of the 6th song, she held my hands AWAY from her body and often over her head, which was a little uncomfortable. After the first song, she stood up, and took off her panties. It was so dark that I already though she was naked. WTF??? The whole time she kept looking out between the curtains, and making it clear to whomever she saw (presumably the dude that took the payment for the dance) that she was holding my hands AWAY from her. So, not only could I not see her, but she was focused on someone else. During the fifth song, she finally turned around and was no longer facing me. She leaned back aagainst my chest and, for the first time, I was able to barely see her nipples as they passed through the crack of light that found its way through the closed curtains. Obviously, I didn't enjoy the place all that much. The odd thing is that is wouldn't have taken much to turn things around. The girl was hot and knew hot to grind just right. However, I could neither see nor touch her. If that wasn't bad enough, not only could I not touch her, but, to be sure, she held my hands away from her the whole time. WTF? Just tell me "no touching" and my hands would be at my side - comfortably. Once the last song ended, the girl started getting dresses and said "sorry" to me, so, clearly, she knew something wasn't up to her standards. When I paid for the dance, the "counter guy" whispered something to her for about 15-20 seconds. Whatever it was, it took a long time to say, and I suspect he told her to "behave", which would explain the hand holding and her watching to see who was watching. Anyway, I will not be back. When I go to a club I want to be able to see the girls on stage (assuming there are some), and I especially want to see the girl giving me a lap dance. As I said, I do like the other Godfathers on Sepulveda, so I will continue to go there.

Stopped by this place on Sunday...
Stopped by this place on Sunday afternoon. I actually hadn't planned on coming here, when I left the house. I was headed to Rouge, which is just a few blocks away from Club 7557, but, sincethey didn't have any dancers in the building at the time, I fgured it was a good time to finally check out Club 7557. Boy was I glad I did! First off, it sure does seem like this place is run/owned by the Russia mob. The bouncer and security guards all looked like blad versions of Drego from Rocky IV. That was a little wierd, but, once I got past that, I had a great time. The place is big. There's a pool table (standard for a strip/bikini bar). The bar is big with lots of stools, and there's a ton of tables. There is one stage and it too is fairly large, with plenty of seats going around it. The drinks were decently priced and were made well by a cute bartender. Now, let's talk about the girls. There were 4 on duty at the time. One was a slender tall light-skined African American. The other 3 were Latinas ranging from thick to chubby to fat. Hey it' cool though, because all four looked good and danced well. They even took turns hanging out with the customers - drinking, talking, etc. Lap dances are only $10, and the songs are not shortend like at other clubs. The downside is that the dances are not private, but, on the plus side, there weren't any security guards watching either. I had a great time, and will be back for sure.

Stopped by this place after work...
Stopped by this place after work on Wednesday. I parked in back was headed to the door. I thought it was strange that I didn't hear any music as I approached the door, but I figured maybe they did a good job of sound proofing the place. I opened the door and still didn't hear any music, but there was another door to walk through, so I figured all was well. I was wrong. Once I got into the place, I realized that there were only 3 other people in the place. One of the bartender and the other two were dancers. I assumed they are dancers because of the outfits they wore, but, they were just sitting at the bar WITHOUT and music playing. They were drinking and playing a video game, and neither of them even looked up when I walked in. At the least the bartender said something to me. I didn't like the vibe, and just walked out. I did want to give the place at least one more shot, so I went back the next evening. Well, things were a litle better. there was music playing but no one was on stage. In fact, I think there was only one girl working. There were three other guys at the bar, so I figured I'd get a drink and give the place a chance. They quickly left and it was down to three of us - the bartender, the dancer, and me. The dancer came over and sat next to me and made some small talk. She made both eye and hand contact while we chatted. It was supposedly only her first day, but she did get my interest. She finally asked if I wanted a dance, but I wasn't really in the mood as I was hoping to jsut watch some girlies on the stage. Don't get me wrong, she was cute, and I'm sure I would have had a great time. I will give this place one more shot, because it looks like it could be fun if there are ever any people in it. The drinks were good and cheap and the place had a nice stage and ample seating.

As others have said, this place...
As others have said, this place is more like a local dive bar than a clib club. Although, it does only serve beer - no booze. But that's ok, because the price is right - $10-$11 a pitcher. There's a huge parking lot in back, and the place is next to both a gas station and a medical marijana place, so it is kind of a one stop corner. The place is pretty small and a little run down. For example, there's a huge crack in th mirror behind the stage with tape holding it together. The girls ranges from reallly thin to just slightly think, so there's something for everyone one - all ethnicities too. There isn't a Dj - just a juke box, so every 1/2 or so, they past round a bucket for tips for the juke. When on stage, the girls seem friendly and will always say "thank you" for tips. if they don't say while dancing, they will thank you afterwards. So, +1 for having friendly girls. However, -2 for these same girls spending little time with the customers between dances. Most dancers don't even hang out in the bar between sets. They're either in the dressing room or out back smoking. When out back, very few are chatty with the customers. Too bad, because that's my only complaint of the place. The girls dance and then disappear. There are two charis set up apparently just for lap dances, but I've been here 15+ times and never saw a lap dance or was even asked for one. I guess that should be expected, since the girls aren't around unless they are on stage. If you want a cheap beer and to see some titties, this is a good place to chill. If you want a little more action, you'll have to go somewhere else.

Stopped by this place a few...
Stopped by this place a few weeks ago after my buddy decided to call it a night earlier than I wanted. So, what the hell? Perfect time to finally check out Cheetah's. First off, let's talk about the valley parking. In this part of town, parking spots can be hard to find. The place does have a small partking lot in back, but I suspect just cars of the people working there will fill it. So, I was happy to see a valley stand. It was $5, which was a little steep, but not out of line. I walked right in, and didn't have to pay a cover or get frisked. The inside was very nice. There were seats at the bar, booths, nice padded "arm chairs" and even a little cabana type booth in the corner. The stage has 2 pools and was large enough for there to always be two girls on the stage. I grabbed a drink at teh bar and sat down in one of the booths. As soon as I sat down, I was approached...not by a dancer but by the damn valley guy. He handed my keys to me and said he parked it right out front. I later found out that he move the car maybe 25 feet from where I handed it off to him. $5 to move my car 25 feet? Oh well, at least I had my keys and could leave whenever I wanted without looking for him. Soon thereafter one of the girls approached and sat next to me. She was very friendly and was more then willing to put in a little "small talk" time before hitting me up for a dance. This was nice, especially since it was getting late and girls often get a little more aggressive as the night is coming to a close. Lap dances are $20 and in a VIp room, that isn't private. By that I mean, you sit on a bench that runs along a wall and other guys can sit right next to you. The first girl was great and even included the "break song" as part of my dance. She didn't mind me getting a little "touchy", but the big security guard that kept watching us did. He was sure to let both of us know that the rule was "no hands at all". Back to the table, and was soon approached by another girl. Some talk at the table then off to get another dance. She was good, but not as good as the first. That's ok, because she said was a new. Same guard was watching and the hands had to stay on the bench. When the girls were on stage, they all put on a good show, and, when off the stage, they didn't mind chatting with the customers. All of them were in the 6-8 range, with most being closer to "8" than "6". The drinks were good and reasonably priced. My only two complaints, and they are small, is that the vallet wasn't the value I thought it was and $20 is a bit expensive for a bikini dance with a security guard standing literally 4 feet away watching. Get rid of him, and it would have been fine. I'll be back, but, if I want a bikini dance, I'll probably go to Sam's Hof Brau or Club 7557 instead, since the only charge $10 and security doesn't watch at either.
