Very convenient if you are near the airport. Even if you just have a couple hours to kill it's only a few minutes away. I stopped by on a Monday evening. Parking lot was full out front and a lot of cars in back. But not so many customers inside. I wondered where they all were. There is a separate "VIP Lounge" but I was told that it is for bachelor parties, etc. The dancers were a mixed bunch, ethnically, size-wise and in attractiveness. Too each his own, I say ... there was somebody here for every taste, but definitely not too many "model" types. If you are at the bar plan on tipping every dancer as she comes off stage, even if you are occupied with a lady. Plus side, when they come around for their dollar just ask them to stop by and see you if you want them too. They will finish their rounds, chat up the regulars, then come see you. Dances are 20 and the room is looking a bit rundown (ratty couches) but the little number I took back there was very generous with her attention. Even more so in the private room (190, which includes 2 drinks for you and two for her). I like Cheerleaders better for the selection and energy but if you just have a little time, and want some private-time company this place ain't bad.

Hard to tell how many dancers were on shift. I think a shift change was going on while I was there. Also, I realized too late that there is apparently a VIP area ... not sure how one goes about it but it looks like some of the girls disappeared to that area. Those I saw were a mixed bunch -- some carrying a few too many pounds for my liking. But overall the girls were pretty and friendly. Had a lapper and then private room with one. Cost for private is reasonable at $190 (give the $10 change to the waitress). You get 4 drinks with that and a half hour to get to know your date.

Saw this place when I took a wrong turn in a rental car -- it's in an industrial area. Had a chance to check it out recently. First, gotta say it does not smell so great, needs a good cleaning! Girls dance in the middle of a circular bar. Some get naked. After dances they come around for tips by walking on the bar top and it's nice and pretty low key. Nobody was pushing dances. Had to ask to even find out they were available. Cost is 30. Heavily supervised and they are entirely one way contact. Saw about six dancers and they would appeal to all tastes I guess. Some pretty heavily tatted and pierced. A couple real lookers. Not too many customers when I was there, and most seemed to be regulars who were chatting up the girls.

Tried Oasis for first time. Have been to Cheerleaders in Phila in the past but thought I would see how a topless place compares (Cheerleaders is bikini). For the time of day (about 11pm) it was much quieter at Oasis than I expected. Not a lot of customers and from what I could see not a lot of girls. A pretty young thing latched onto me for about a half hour chat and then I accepted her offer of a couch dance ($20) followed by a more private dance ($190). Includes 4 drinks. The doors to the private rooms are "bead doors" so not totally private. My dance was able to adjust the lights and it seemed pretty secluded. She was a sweet girl and very generous with her talents. She asked for a tip after the half hour and seemed happy with another $20. Would definitely give this place another go, but for hanging out with the dancers and watching some sports on TV then I would prefer Cheerleaders. If you want to see / touch a little more, Oasis is a nice alternative.

Very easy to find on Main St, and just off of I-287, and easy parking nearby. Seems like a reasonably safe area. No cover. Drinks are cheap and I got lots of ones back in change from my 20. Good thing becaue this place is all about the dollar parade. Torpoedo's is hardly the "New York style" club they say on their website, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. On a weekend night there were plenty of regular guys there (seems to be no dress code) and a mix of ladies: some real lookers, some not so much. Big and small, black and white, emphasis on Russian chicks. Dances in the back are 20 bucks, in a comfortable, semi-private area. You walk past the kitchen to get there, and there are small booths open in front. You pay the bouncer in advance but you can keep going and pay after for the additional dances. I had a few dances with 4 different chicks, all various shades of Russian. They were very sweet, good but not great contact. If extras were on the menu I missed it! One particularly beatiful Russian chick (very petite) spoke almost no English but had great body language. A sign in the back says "no touching," and I did scale it back but it didn't seem to me like it was being closely monitored. This is no "lap dance factory," by the way. The place was packed when I was there but when I went in the back most booths were empty. I guess a lot of guys' pockets were empty too! At one point a bouncer walked around the bar area and told the standees that they must buy a drink or leave. Overall impression: if I was stuck in the area I would definitely go back, but on the other hand this place would not be a destination for me. One last thing: Music way too loud.

I still like this place a lot. Low pressure, good drinks, safe vibe. And in general surprisingly high mileage (if you want it) in the LD room. On my most recent visit the girls didn't seem to be stopping by to say hello and to sell, as much as they usually do. So if I spottied a hottie that interested me I went up to her, easy to do as they are coming back from the LD room. Spent some time with a long legged bisexual girl, lean and hard with a beautiful face. Much of the dance was a simulated back door session if you know what I mean. Her hands were on a chair facing a mirror so I could see her face, and she reached around for the tug until we finished (the dance, of course). Nice.

I think this place is run by same folks who run Flashdancers. But there is not much comparison between this little and low key spot and FD. If you have a favorite here to come visit then I could see coming back, but my recent trip was not much fun. Very small, no privacy for LD and not much eye candy. Better than nothing? Yes. And maybe even better than a lot of the run of the mill clubs elsewhere. And in downtown NYC there is not such much to choose from as in mid town. Still, next time I will choose an AMP (too back we cannot review those here).

Back to Gallaghers, this time on a weeknight around 10pm to midnight. There never seems to be a large crowd here, guys come and go and often seem out numbered by the dancers. I still like this club. You don't find the real beauties for the most part, like you would in some of the upscale Manhattan clubs but the girls are nice and happy to chat with you for a while or longer. Don't sit at the bar if you don't want to be interrupted by constant $1 tip parade -- personally I don't mind paying at all but I do mind the interruption when I am talking to a lady. Had a long chat with a recent (white) college grad who is looking for work and making ends meet here. Nice girl but not my type. Threw her a sympathy dance and pretty much regretted it. Hot looking black dancer pretty much gave me a beej through my pants while she eye-f*cked me during a $20 dance. Once the clothes came off she wasnt' as hot as I thought. Had 2 dances. Little latina with big t*ts gave a nice grind. Ran into a 19 / 20 yr old Russian blonde who I had taken for private dance before so we went back there again. Still $160 for half hour. Sweet girl but I know too much about her life know and was actually embarrassed to finish so I didn't. Stupid, I know. Was thinking about leaving but let another Russian talk me into a dance which said would be the best I ever had. Halfway through it I asked her about going private and she said she would not charge me for the dance we were doing. I asked her what would happen in the private -- learned my lesson -- and she said "I will make you c*m. Let's just say she was a hottie, fun to talk to and dance with, and she speaks the truth. I would go back there but need to be smarter with my money. By the way, have only ever had bottled beer in this place. I have no complaints about the cost of beer and I can't confirm whether reports of watered down cocktails are true.

Have been to Cheerleaders many times over the years. It was smaller and lower key "back in the day," and that was nice. There are more girls there now, and a better private dance room, and mileage has increased, and that's nice too. If you want to, usually you can just sit at the bar, have a beer or two, and admire the "scenery." You can tip a dollar or two if a dancer comes by and have a nice chat with some light contact. Or you can go in the back for more. Last time I was here was after a Flyers game and the place was packed. There was a feature dancer so that may have been why, but there were basically no seats at the bar. The girls tend to pass you by when you are standing, but one young girl-next-door looking type asked me if I was standing under the missletoe (they had Xmas decorations) and we ended up going for several dances. She was pretty freaky, much more than her look suggested. Turns out she has a "butch" girlfriend. She seems to like it when I squeezed her neck a little bit. I know I liked it when she squeezed my joint. Could have used a change of clothes. (Note: there is a digital dance counter on the wall ... read the number when you start and when you stop and you'll know exactly how many dances you had. They go by song. Sometimes the songs are amazingly long.)

Had some time available on a weekday evening so I stopped by Gallaghers. Lots of dancers, with an emphasis on Russians. Usually there are more Latinas earlier in the day and more Russians at night. Got a nice backub at the bar from a Russian girl (same price as LD). She asked me for a LD but I declined as she was not really my type. Went upstairs for an LD with a pretty little Russian girl and eventually did a half hour in a private room. She was very sweet and we talked as much as danced. Hung out a while longer and a south American with enormous t*ts caught my eye ... not usually what I am looking for but we had LD and a lot more was promised so I agreed to another 30 mins VIP. Was not so great though. There was some DFK but not enough attention where it counts. And she turned out to a girl who wanted to talk about her problems, which is turn off. On the other hand, the rack was fantastic and I was able to grope and feed like a little baby!

Managed to get to Gallaghers's late afternoon (around 4:30 pm) rather than late night as during my other visits. There are far more South Americana rather than Russians this time of day. Some of them are very beautiful. All of them were very friendly without being overly agresssive. A sweet young thing from Columbia caught my eye while she was dancing behind the bar and I asked her to stop by and see me. By the time she walked by, another girl was chatting so she didn't stop, but when I mentioned tht I was waiting for the first girl, the one talking to me went and got her (gave her a small tip for that). Had a very promising lap dance upstairs (no bouncer up there that time of day) and I suggested we move to a private. These are a bargain at $160. She was very friendly in there, including unlimited t*tty sucking on my part, fondling of the kitty through her thong, and lot of hands on where it counts from her. This girl was 21 years old, with a rocking body that was tighth as a drum. She knew just how to get me 99% of the way there an then back off. As our half hour was drawing to a close she sat on my lap facing to the rear, and ground me to a sticky finish. Can't wait to see her again (not mentioning name because I didn't ask here if it was ok).

Tried Gallaghers for the first time, on a Saturday night. Although it is only a few miles from mid-town NYC, the taxi ride into Long Island city ran about 10 dollars. My driver did not know quite where he was going, so you may pay less. I did not want to try the subway because I was wary of the walk from the station in this industrial area. (When you go to leave, walk half a block back to the main road and taxis are waiting there ... don't take the "black cars" lined up by the front door.) On arrival you have to empty your pockets and go through a metal detector, and then leave your jacket with the coat check girl. While a little scary, it does make you feel safer at the same time. The place itself is large, but it was also relatively empty -- the seating area and standing room around the bar was packed, while the other seating areas were basically empty. There are lots of girls here and, as others have noted, if you sit at the bar every dancer will expect her dollar. If you don't want to do that, you can stand near the bar and pay nothing until you are ready for a private dance. There were a lot of Russians here, but also a variety of girls from other areas: mostly white and thin but, again, enough variety to suit every taste. They are not pushy and you will not feel like you are in a "wanna dance" factory. If the girl you are interesed in does not stop by to see you, you can just ask her for a dance (I did not notice too many dancers sitting with customers, but it was Satruday night and they were busy dancing.) The lap dance mileage was mid level at best. One girl who danced for me had bad breath -- ugh -- and I could not wait for the dance to end. The real value here is the $160 access to the private dance areas. These are small curtained off rooms, with a couch and a small table in them. No tip was solicited by my dancer or by the guy I paid the money to. Nobody checked on us while we were in the room and it seemed to me that we were there for more than half an hour. My dancer (a young and very petite Russian who I am not going to name) started our session with vigorous dancing, but I asked her to slow down and take it easy. After that it was more of a GFE. She was very sweet and used her hands very effectively. I would definitely go back.

Late night weekday visit. Place was packed. Usual Flashdance mixed nationality girls and lots of them. You cannot sit down without "wanna dance." But the dances were all high mileage and most girls very pleasant to be with. One girl in particular was from Chile. She was not as slim as I usually prefer. But I enjoyed chatting with and when the waitress tried to sell me a lady's drink I opted for a dance instead. Was glad I did. Very sensual and very high mileage. She took my hands and place them right on her (bare) tits and put her hands on top ... I was "forced" to keep feeling her up. When her butt was facing me she pulled her thong aside and gave me a nice quick view of her p*ssy! That is unusual at Flashdance but maybe a sign of the times.
