Very easy to find on Main...

Very easy to find on Main St, and just off of I-287, and easy parking nearby. Seems like a reasonably safe area. No cover. Drinks are cheap and I got lots of ones back in change from my 20. Good thing becaue this place is all about the dollar parade. Torpoedo's is hardly the "New York style" club they say on their website, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. On a weekend night there were plenty of regular guys there (seems to be no dress code) and a mix of ladies: some real lookers, some not so much. Big and small, black and white, emphasis on Russian chicks. Dances in the back are 20 bucks, in a comfortable, semi-private area. You walk past the kitchen to get there, and there are small booths open in front. You pay the bouncer in advance but you can keep going and pay after for the additional dances. I had a few dances with 4 different chicks, all various shades of Russian. They were very sweet, good but not great contact. If extras were on the menu I missed it! One particularly beatiful Russian chick (very petite) spoke almost no English but had great body language. A sign in the back says "no touching," and I did scale it back but it didn't seem to me like it was being closely monitored. This is no "lap dance factory," by the way. The place was packed when I was there but when I went in the back most booths were empty. I guess a lot of guys' pockets were empty too! At one point a bouncer walked around the bar area and told the standees that they must buy a drink or leave. Overall impression: if I was stuck in the area I would definitely go back, but on the other hand this place would not be a destination for me. One last thing: Music way too loud.
