If the girl works somewhere notoriously high mileage such as Hawaii Theater in Industry, or any other high mileage club then chances are the husband or boyfriend is very similar, to a pimp. Think about that... MOST of them aren't naive enough to date a dancer and not have any idea what goes on at the club they are at. If they TRULY had a problem with what their woman was doing for money, they wouldn't allow them to strip, or would at least re-position them into one of the many low mileage clubs (there are MANY clubs where the bouncers patrol every 10-15 minutes, even in the private areas - hell, even Deja Vu in Industry has cameras in the VIP) she could still make money without needing to compete with a Hawaii Theater type of environment where nearly everyone offers full service for the right tip.
Interestingly enough, I JUST had this conversation with one of the Hawaii Theater girls this past Friday night before I went to the VIP. I asked her what her live-in boyfriend felt about her VIP work, and she replied "Hey, I also do porn, so he's actually seen me have sex with other guys. Besides, he knows that whatever I do here is just business..." (paraphrasing, or course).
With that said, I've dated dancers who worked in bouncer patrolled low mileage environments, and even then I didn't trust them to be able to turn down the occasional old dude that would offer $1,000 just to eat them. Hell, if they're getting offered that kind of money then I might even have been willing to watch!
