Interesting Visit for an Out-of-TownerIf you look at my history, I've been on this site for ten years, and reviewed 39 clubs; this is the first review I've posted of this place, or any other club in Ohio, for that matter. If my reason for being here was to promote this particular club, I am playing quite the long game, don't you think?

Wrong name and wrong placeEither the place has changed recently, or the person you were talking to wasn't clear. For at least twenty years, this place has had live girls; it's not a strip club per se, but an adult store with both video booths and live girls in the back. Years ago, it was called "Charlie's Dream." I believe there used to be a stage, probably at least ten years ago, but I never saw it used. Last time I was there, which was probably within the last six months and on a weekday, there were still at least two booths for live girls if you go straight down the hallway on the right side of the building. There was one girl working, but she didn't much interest me, so I left.
More than once, I've been there and there were no girls working, so maybe the guy who told you there were no girls meant that there were no girls working at that time? Otherwise, there's been a recent change.

Chil vibeI've made that mistake before. I sent a message to admin and they moved the review. You may want to give it a shot.

A Philly StapleOf course it's a paid review. The proof is in my profile. In February of 2009, I was recruited by agents of Club Risque to post this review. To make it look like I wasn't just a shill, I visited and reviewed thirty five clubs in five different states over the following nine years. And now, mission accomplished, I will collect my handsome payment and retire, flush with my success, but always on the run from people like you who see through my elaborate hoax.
To be fair, I understand that because pretty much everything I said about the place seems positive, you might think I was a shill. Maybe I was in a good mood, maybe I was nostalgic. But no, nobody is lining my pockets to post here.

Favorite Block SpotKudos on the David Lynch reference! That one sentence pretty well sums up my experience of the Block.

Quiet Monday NightAppreciate the review, but all clubs in Pennsylvania are decidedly not BYOB. Even Al's Diamond Cabaret, also in Reading, has a full bar.
