I like HOKA shoes HOKA ONE ONE Mach 4 - price is about $140. I never use them for running - just for general walking around. If you have a Fleet Feet store near you you will find very knowledgeable sales personnel who are much better than the folks that you would find at a mall store. They also have a 60-day return policy where you can bring them back for exchange or refund if you don't like them. I second the Treasur e Club Greensboro recommendation - was there a couple of days ago around 5 PM - big crowd and lots of dancers - most attractive and all friendly. They have a daytime special - 2 for 60 in private room.
