- Obama and strip-club employeesdiscussion comment16 years agoIn theory the dancers are paying the payroll taxes already, thru the self employment part of their income tax. The governments problem is that it doesn't have a good way to track what was actually earned. The democrats are pushing to eliminate loopholes good and bad. Contractors of all sorts are able to under report earnings. They also have to struggle with the other side of the loopholes, no unemployment or health insurance. If the obama reforms do affect the clubs I'm sure someone will find a way around the new rules.
