I've been coming to this club for a long time. I try the others. Ricks, (eh eh) Sugars, Yellow Rose. But I always come back to Perfect 10. It always feels like Cheers to me. Like coming home. There is normally a good mix of different types of girls from petite to Amazon. White, Black, Asian, Latina & even a few Russian girls. The mixed drinks always seem to be light to me. You will get better value sticking to the beer. All in all, it's still the one place I will always have fun.

Found it interesting that Ricks couldn't make a go of things at their old location. The facilities were very nice over there. But, as they say in business... Location, Location, Location. I wondered what they might do different from the old Joy that had been here for so long. Not a lot. The drink hustle is still here.. maybe even a bit stronger. The girls are definitely a step down from across the street at Perfect 10. Mostly 6-7s with an occasional 8. I always felt sleesy in Joy.. and Ricks feels the same. I shouldn't be surprised I guess. All of the other Ricks locations around Houston and New Orleans gave me the same feeling. Not an experience to repeat.

This club can be hit or miss. Unfortunately, the misses are pretty bad. There has been a lot of work on the club since I was in a few years ago. The VIP area has been expanded. And the lounge opposit main stage is re-modeled. I went in on a Wed evening about 10PM. Croud seemed light. Lots of space around the main stage. But every table was dirty. Half empty glasses everywhere. I sat for about 15 minutes and never even had a waitress come by. One dancer did stop by and asked if some one had waited on me and then left to find a waitress. Never did get one. 30 minutes later, I was out of there. Seems like I visit Joy about every 2 years just to see if it has changed. It hasn't.

The last review was pretty close to my experience as well. Yeah, the club looks a bit seedy. But the hustle is to get you into the booths. Worked with a few girls enough to get the process. The girls like to get you worked up in the booths first and there is some decent contact allowed by some. YMMV. I found the girls from the Eastern Bloc had a pretty limited contact rule. But could be induced to more with more $$. $10 per is still the rule. And if you get hustled for more $ for more contact, say thanks and move on. Plenty of girls who will play for $10. After each of the girls took you through dances in the booth, they wanted to move to the "show" area. Here they want to sit in front of you and put on a show for $20 per song. Absolutly NO touching during the show. Kind of a pain after getting you all worked up in the booth. While the exchange rate does make this an affordable trip, I still feel you get more mileage for your $$ in Tampa, Dallas, Vegas and Austin. I'll pass on the SC scene in Montreal on future visits.

Having heard all about how wonderful Montreal clubs could be, I was ready for a great night. Sadly, this club left a lot to be desired. I've never been a fan of the "stool dance". I had a few of the cheap 6 dollar dances but they left me feeling pretty bored. Most of the girls just seemed to be going through the motions in the main part of the club. Had a young lady convince me to go to the side VIP area for a $20 cover. Cheap by most VIP standards. She did get a bit closer and intimate. And she seemed to be into it a bit more than the girls had been out front. But still a LONG way from Tampa, Dallas or Austin standards. I left within about 45 minutes and moved on. I wouldn't return.

Sister club to The Penthouse in Austin. Seemed to be a very roomy club and very comfortable. But like many clubs in the area, not one you should get to very early. I got in about 8pm on a Saturday night and it was empty. I didn't see 10 girls working and even fewer customers. It didn't take an hour to go through a complete stage rotation. Girls went from a couple of 2s to some 7s. Nothing to write home about at all. Several should NOT have been naked at all. I was ready to pay them to cover up. More cottage cheese than a dairy. As the night wore on, more and more girls began to show up. But it was almost 11 before there was any real action in the place. Still pretty limited to 5-7s. Food was pretty good up to that point though. Then I met two stunners. Legacy has a sexy girl next door quality. Personally, the glasses and the plad skirt got to me. Very cute look and legs that seemed to go on forever. I was just about to see what I could work up with her... when life stopped. Persia walked onto the stage. I admit I have a thing for petite women but she took my breath away. 5 foot nuthin, dark brown hair to the middle of her back and parts that just fit the rest of her size. And she turned out to be a real sweetheart. She got a WHOLE lot of my money. Very very sensual. On the whole, the club is not any where near the same quality of club as Penthouse in Austin. If not for Persia, the night would have been a complete loss. She might get me back there again. But if she isn't working, I won't be staying.

Very slow club. Girls average 5-7. I sat for a solid HOUR before anyone ever came to talk. In two and a half hours I had 3 girls come by. I can't count the number of times a girl was on main stage and then left to go back to the dressing room for 30-45 minutes. I got hussled 10 times harder by the waitresses. The only exception to this was a cute blonde dancing under the name of Holly. Sweet girl. At least she understood that a dance is not all about how hard you can grind. Very sensual. Lots of teasing and touching. Every other dancer I got to sit down thought it was a contest to see who could grind the hardest. This club is forever off my list.

Interesting that most people have been rating Penthouse based on middle of the day or off hours. Let me explain, Penthouse is PACKED on Friday and Saturday nights. And their Sunday nights are pretty full too. However, I have found the best nights for this club tend to be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. They have a pretty full set of girls but the crowd isn't to large to get some attention. Most of the girls after 9pm tend to run 7-9. The mileage will be higher along the back and side. Down in the main lower level will be a bit lighter. Most of the girls are more than willing to have fun IF..big IF.. you act like a gentleman. If you are a jerk and just try to get as much off of the girl as you can, you are gonna be lonely. But be polite and friendly, you can have a blast here. All types and sizes of ladies. From petite to Amazon. I've been visiting this club for over 5 years. And it is still my favorite place to hang out in Austin. And I have tried them all. If you meet a girl dancing under the name of a specific bath soap, she can be a blast. And there is a little petite blonde with glasses named after our last President who is a little spitfire.

I normally hit the Kilt when I am in Sau Paulo. Stage show can be interesting. The ladies can run from 3s up to 8s. Faces may not be Claudia Schiffer, but the bodies are outstanding. Dances in the club are nothing to write home about. However, extras can be negotiated. (And are appreciated.) I almost always find someone special to spend time with here. Almost any taste in women can be found. Drinks and cover can be a bit high. Note that you pay the cover on exit not entrance. Be sure and tip the doorman as well. Especially if you plan on coming back another night.

I will never understand the attraction here. At one point, Sugars had some of the hottest women in Austin. But the club was so small you could never get a seat. But it seemed like almost every girl there was blonde with a bad boob job. Management tends to move around here in Austin. And it looks like some of the lesser managers have now made it to Sugars. Not much spectacular here any more. On a recent Sunday night, I did run into a tiny little thing that at least had some fire in her. She couldn't have been over 4'10" tall. But she danced like she was 5'10 and on a run way in New York. She was a breath of fresh air in a now stale club. Joy or Penthouse is still your better choice for North Austin.
