There are different kinds of swingers. Soft swap and full swap. Not all swingers go hog wild swapping partners. We are mostly soft swap. We enjoy the sexually charged atmosphere and some interaction with others, i.e. dirty dancing and touching and some other things when you're with the right people and everyone is on the same page. Just going to a swing club does not mean it's a big orgy pile. We have never been to Trapeze, but we do attend 3 on-premisis swing clubs and various off-premises clubs and meet and greets regularly.
Dragman - apparently you have no idea what you are talking about. Most swingers are couples that are very secure in their relationships - some married for 20-30 years. In fact, if you are not secure in your relationship then swinging isn't for you. People have such a misconception of swinging. Don't preach on a subject that you know nothing about or have never experienced.
Fondl - as for high class clubs, swing clubs are actually very cheap. They are usually BYOB with a fee for the "party". We have gone to clubs and paid anywhere from $50 to $100 a party. That included food (sometimes a full meal), D.J., party favors, full use of the facilities, i.e. hot tub, rooms, etc. I'd like to see you go to a strip club and come away as satisfied for the same amount of money!
