Went to the No.5 on a Fri night. Met up with my friends at about 7. The place was slow, there were only a few private dancers working. Most were 5-6 range, maybe a 7 wandering around. The place started to get busy around 10. Some of the better dancers started showing up around then. Natalie, Mercedes and Veronica are my favorites. As my friend took Veronica upstairs, the local law enforcement came in and did a routine check. When they show up, contact lap dances become air dances and my buddy was very unhappy. This is the 3rd time I've seen LE show up so they must be making regular sweeps of strip clubs in town. Needless to say, this spoiled the evening and we left.

Swung by the club on a Saturday night. Place was pretty slow at 7, but a few more customers started rolling in and the place was packed by 10. For a Sat night, there were not alot of VIP girls working. Some go upstairs with customers and don't come back for hours. I wonder if they make a few bucks, spend it, then go back when they need more. Most of the really hot dancers did not show up this night and we left without getting a dance or even been approached by very many girls.

I visited No. 5 Orange Pub a couple of years ago, when it was one of the highest rated TUSCL clubs, and was very disappointed due to the very few girls, their unattractiveness, and their dismal stage dancing. Perhaps it was because my visit was on a Sunday evening. So this week I was back in town and I thought maybe I should give it a second chance. My expectations were low due to my previous visit and because more recent TUSCL reviewers have been less excited about it, mainly due to the high cost and minimal contact of VIP room dances (a significant change for the worse since the old days). I was there on a Wednesday from about 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM. And what do you know, it was no better. The place was full of patrons, but there were only about five dancers and a similar number of VIP girls, some attractive, some decidedly not. The stage dancers danced on stage for four consecutive songs with interminable two-full-song breaks in between. So one boring dancer meant that it was eight full songs (about half an hour) between entertaining periods at No. 5. Worse, none of the girls had the moves to sustain my interest for four songs. And I noticed that other patrons also stopped watching them after a while, too. In fact, most of the dancers themselves seemed to get bored after a song or so and didn't seem to care about their performance after that. So the stage show really sucked. But maybe the VIP dances were better, I thought. To answer that question, and because by midnight I was otherwise totally bored with the place (and it closeesat 1 AM), I tried an ultra-expensive $50 three-minute one-song dance ($40 got you a non-contact dance, and $50 allowed you to touch) with Mercedes, who was the best looking VIP girl there. Also the other TUSCL reviews that I read said she was the best there. Well, she did finger herself a bit, which was nice, but she mostly kept her distance, and it definitely wasn't worth even close to $50. Compared to $20 full-contact private dances I've had in L.A., Kansas City, and Columbia, South Carolina, this was terrible. By the way, Mercedes said that the four-songs-on, two-songs-off stage show and expensive, minimal-contact private dances were in effect every night, including weekends, so going on a weekend won't help this place. Since, according to other reviews, No. 5 Orange is the best club in Vancouver, my suggestion is that, when in Vancouver, stay home. Save your money. Don't go to No. 5 Orange. It's a waste of your time and money. Rent a DVD. Spend the time to drive to Seattle and visit a better club. Which is really a shame; it seems that this club was just trying to be as mediocre as it could. It had a few pretty girls; it just wasn't trying to be a good club. And since it seems that prostitution is legal in Vancouver, with Madame Cleo's and another brothel advertising even in hotel "Things to do in Vancouver" booklets, it doesn't make sense to me that No. 5 Orange should be so tame, so boring, and so just plain bad.

Went to the No.5 on a Thu night. Slow until about 9 pm. Then the private dancers started rolling in. This place is not as good as it once was, but do to the Drake closing recently, we are starting to lose options. Free admission before 8, $3 after, $5 on Fri and Sat nights. Dances are $40 or $50, beer (Coors light) is $6.50. Best bets for dances are Mercedes, Brittany or Natalie.

Was in Vancouver recently (may 4th) and decided to pay a visit to the No 5. HAd been here originally many years ago while in the military. The girls were hot as I remember, and the staff seemed pretty friendly. I sat and watched the stage show for awhile (always a good way to check out the local talent) and relax. Soon was approached by a few girls but my personal weakness is blonde's and there was a hot one on stage who noticed me watching her. After she finished her set and got refreshed (unlike a lot a of places where they come off all hot and sweaty :( This Really tall hot blond came over and sat down. think her name was Natasha or something like that , really wasn't interested in her name. after a little small talk decided to do a dance with her. did find the $40 a song a little steep but had fond memories of previous times in No. 5. Lest say that memories are often better than the reality, found very low mileage lap dance, and at $40 a pop wouldn't suggest them. I did give her 5 dances to see if she would improve, last one was exactly like the first one Sigh should have checked here first, now I see all the other post talking about the low mileage

Went to the No. 5 to catch the end of teh Canucks game after a long day at work, got there around 9:30pm. Place was packed due to the hockey game, this always brings in the most girls. This night was no different, lots of girls - many in the 8 or 9 range. The paid stage dancers were all 9 and 10's and very good at what they do. The couple of regulars I like to spend time with were very busy with a line of guys waiting for them so I ventured off to find new a new girl. Hooked up wiht one of the dancers who had a killer body. Next I went up stairs with Mercedes, very cute girl with another great body - she gave very good lap dances. Not sure if the two girls I had dances with were not the type to give a good grinding lap dance or if this place has had a few issues with the local police. The No. 5 was always the best place for high milage dances but tonight the were good but lacking the mileage that made this place infamous. Due to the high price of these dances $50 and the some what reduced mileage I always enjoy here I gave them an 8 otherwise it would have been a 10 for a great time and cute girls.

Checked out the 5 the other night. Many of the dancers have backed off completely on private dances with little or no contact. There are a few that ignore the house rules, and a few that don't. You have to ask alot of questions, but even then, you may get the shaft. One european blonde who never really gave good dances before, outright lied to someone, and after getting his money, proceeded to give an air dance. When the customer complained, she called the doorman, who explained that was the house rules.

It has been reported by some of my friends that there are no longer any contact dances at the 5. There had been several sweeps of the private dance areas and new rules have been implemented. We will see how long this lasts and will keep you updated on the situation

Stopped by on a Tuesday night. It was surprisingly busy around 11pm. Quite a few hotties walking around but also lots of guys. I was beginning to lose interest when a brunette named Mercedes (reviewed here before) approached. I recognized the name and thought she fit the bill so I agreed to $50/song full contact option. I must say she was great. I find many of the no. 5 dancers a dissappointment, particularly for the money, but not this time. She's a keeper. Very sensual, mutual contact. Expensive but good value. I will be back.

I checked out the club after watching Monday Night Football at a sports bar. $4 cover during weeknights. The place was quite slow, maybe due to a snowfall a few nights earlier. There were about 8 vip dancers wandering around, and out of that 3 were 8 out of 10's. I did not partake in any private dances though, as I didn't feel like parting with $50 for a 3 minute cut songs. Stage shows were average at best, but better than not seeing any naked women. ;)

I checked out the club on a Sat night. Alot of very nice looking girls available for private dances, along with some not so nice. Like the last reviewer, I also tried Mercedes, as she has one of the nices ass you can see. She and Natalie like to bend over and talk to customers, while shaking their ass to the customers behind them. Dances are $40 for close up, and $50 for full contact. Unfortunately, songs are cut fairly short and $50 per 3 min song can add up. Still, one of the better clubs in a not so good town for strip clubs.

This club is very good, we went to a number of places for a friends bachelor party and this one by far has the best lap dances, and yes they were actual lap dances none of that space in between. They've got great looking girls doing stage shows however very very few of them actually give table dances, most of them are just for show. I did get a table dance from Mercedes. I would highly recommend her. Very nic exotic look, and did her job very well. I would have stayed to get more lap dances with her but the club closes at 1AM and i get her last couple of dances for the night.
