I showed up when there were not too many people in the club. I sat down and enjoyed a $4 NA beer- not too bad by club prices and watched the pretty girls dance. It was before 7pm so no cover. I had a few normal stripper conversations with a few girls and then ended up talking to 2 of them for probably over an hour each. I think they were bored and not making any money anyways so we had a great time just telling jokes and generally B.S.ing. Eventually I got a dance. It was very passionate. It was so convincing I had to keep telling myself not to kiss her. I wanted to bite her ear and kiss up her neck, but I was able to restrain myself. As more girls came on shift and more customers came, I had a worse time, just because there were men there who could spend a hell of a lot more than me. I definitely recommend coming at an odd hour if you want to get a lot of attention from a hot girl while spending barely anything. If it wasn't for the dance ($30), I had a great time only buying a beer ($4), tipping the waitress ($1), and tipping the girls on stage (<$10). I still highly recommend the dance, I just found the value better without it. I think I would have rather spent $15 on 3 different visits than $45 at once.

Stopped by on a Tuesday night. Been awhile since my last visit. $20 cover and $4 bottle of water. One of the dancers told me there were 22 girls dancing. I couldn't count them all, and most of the time there were about 10 to 15 roaming around on the floor, with one or two on stage. Most we're very attractive, with Veronica, Evie and Natalie being standouts (for my taste). Not sure if they still do it, but last time I was there on a Wednesday and they had wristband Wednesday. The good part of that is that you pay something like $20 in addition to the cover, but all your entries to the Launch Pad are free. Otherwise, like the Tuesday I was there, you pay $5 to the house EVERY time you enter the Launch Pad, and the $25 per song (or 3 songs for $60) to the girl (plus tip which is very much expected). Good contact dances in the Launch Pad. But the whole time, they'll be tring to upswell you to the VIP areas. Not sure what you get in / up there as I've never visited, but the girls always sell it as "you'll be very satisfied", and "no cameras" and "we can do whatever we want". One thing to watch for is with some girls if you don't stop them after the first song, they'll go right into the next without asking if you want another and before you know it, if you'd planned on only one dance with the girl for $25, you're in for the 3 for $60 deal. All in all, a great evening and I'll be back.

Came her while on vacation to Orlando. Ben here before in the past so I knew the layout and overall atmosphere. Got in free with service ID and bought mandatory drink. Mostly young white girls between 18 and 25 with a few older women who were in good shape and a few exotic ladies (Latina, Asian, black). Sampled almost all of the dancers and most offered very high mileage. While tipping a stage one brunette with small breast but excellent curves took my hands and placed them on the inside of her thigh brushing against her pussy. The entire time she had these fuck me eyes and paid a great deal of attention to the stage side patrons. I later flagged her down for a dance and she allowed touching everywhere but no sex. Still pretty good session and she was sexy in every way. My favorite dance was with an older blonde milf with bolt-ons. Agreed to three songs for sixty plus the $5 entrance fee for private dances. She wasted no time and immediately stripped nude and began a HEAVY grind while reaching in my pants. She was so nice as to pull out a hat, put it on for me and take a seat in my lap for the final two songs until we were both finished. After she said thanks and walked off to the next guy. I tipped her $40 and watched two more stage dances and left. I highly recommend, YMMV but be patient and the right girl will find you.

This will be a composite review: One for early Tue. evening and another for Friday night visits last month. The only significant change since my earlier year review is that the hours for free admission have been extended to 7pm. (Also advertised on club billboard on building.) TUESDAY VISIT: I manage to slide in under the wire for the free admission cutoff. Guessing about 5 dancers there, mostly around 7ish attractive range. A lanky native American is on stage first- very good stageside interaction. Then an intermission break with a 3 for 60 announced, a buxom latina catches my eye. She sounded as sexy as she looks. 3 fer wasn't quite enough, extended 2 songs, then took a welcome dinner break at nearby eatery. (After getting my hand stamped for re-entry). Quick glance around showed 2 fair caucasian dancers, one petite medium with few tats, another a bit fleshy with more tats. Returning post 9pmish, most of day/swing shift left with new arrivals coming in as late as 1030. Some highlights of new additions include a buxomish auburn hair, an enhanced tall petite dark haired model type, a young tall brunette with a smoking bod. I'd say night crew increased to about 15 or so dancers.There was no bathroom troll, I had no problem getting a seat anywhere (stageside or floorside.) FRIDAY VISIT: This visit was later arrival (930p). By 1030, club was getting to be packed. My first lapdance wasn't that great, as I got a nagging upseller type. 2 and out. There are a lot of dancers in, guessing 2 dozen peak.Mostly Cauc., or Hispanic. Mostly different crew than Friday, though I recognize the first Tuesday dancer (Nat. American) who I saw on stage- much better time in back with her. There is a 9ish enhanced young dirty blonde who looks like a good prospect for Playboy that has been hanging with some young guys. After a while, she breaks lose, and (wisely) comes my way. Before I forget, one pays the "host" a $5 fee each time one goes back. Several Jacksons later, I call it a night. SUMMARY/SOME CAVEATS: If one likes nude dances in a somewhat private setting with a diverse bevy of attractive dancers, 2001 is for you. By now, I'm jaded towards the hustle- isn't quite as acute on crowded nights,(still get approached, but more willing to move on) yet I wasn't ignored by 2 desireable prospects either. One negative trend I noticed on this visit(includeing 1 other non-reviewed night) is that a few dancers aren't going nude in regular LD area- they just go topless. I can't confirm this for sure, but I've seen some 2fer topless dances advertised. I might have seen someone getting them near dancer cage that they have a bikini/topless dancer there sometimes on busy nights. This is the first I've ever encountered this in over a decade of clubbing there. I didn't press the issue, just made it a 1 and out deal with dancer. Overall, the good far outweighed the bad, I would return.

Went to 2001 on a Friday afternoon at about 2:30 pm. Parking lot had about 10 cars in it. No cover charge at the door with drink purchase, free admission from noon to seven. Only about three or four others in the club, and about six dancers all pretty good looking. Took a seat close to the stage and a waitress was right there for my drink order. Got water for $4.00 plus a $1.00 tip. A DJ plays the music which can sometimes be too loud. Stage is shaped like a straightened Z with 3 poles with seats on the edge. Early in the night 1 dancer at time on stage for a 3 song set. Later there are 3 dancers at a time for 3 song sets. There is a wide range of dancers here skinny to chubby; young to older, short to tall most are 6 or better. This club has a private lap dance area that cost $5 to enter, and most dances are $25 per song with 3 songs for $60 specials. Most girls will give the special anytime if you ask. Most will push for up sale to spaceship for $220 for half an hour or champagne room for $420 a half hour. Some push harder than others for the up sale. Sign out front said day shift rocks and I must agree. The Class of ladies here on day shift is better than a lot of clubs night shift. But it seems the later it gets they get even better looking dancers coming in to work. Overall the club is pretty clean. Not to poor lighting for a strip club. Does have a rather small bathroom when there is an attendant present. If you like a little more privacy for your dances this club is a better choice, just be prepared for some pushy up sell. Overall a good experience, I will return

Went here with a couple of friends on a boys night out, and sat by the main stage once seats became available. It was definitely a fun place to be, plenty of good looking girls and while they were obviously keep to take us off to their spaceship, when we made it clear that we were just there to throw a lot of dollars at the dancers, they were okay with that. Dancers would come out in 1s,2s,or3s to dance for 3 songs. The shows were good and plenty of pole tricks were in evidence. We made it rain a number of times and the girls all responded accordingly.

Well this is a contradictory review.... why... Nude no alcohol!!! dear Florida WTF. The girls are awesome, 8, 9, 10 but NO BEER! it does not make any sense what so ever. So being that it is an 18 year old club it feels like a club for babies since all the guys that come in look still in High School. Some dancers will surprise you with their pole skills... but forget about any extra mileage. Word is this place is highly monitored, being in the city and all. So if any under 21 buddies bring them in for some full nude action.

Went to this place with a friend visiting from outta town. And I gotta say I enjoyed it, might even say its the best strip club I've been to in Tampa. A lot better than Mons venus in my opinion. The dancers were pretty hot and there was decent variety of ethnicities for the dancers. Went on a Tuesday night so it was pretty chill, still had girls asking if you want a dance every couple of minutes but that's seems to be the case everywhere. The lap dances were pretty good and some of the girls just actually just chilled and talked with you even if you didn't get one which I thought I was pretty cool. All in all if your in the Tampa area I would recommend it.

When I was in Tampa a couple of years ago I really enjoyed this place so was happy to give it another try. $20 cover and $4 mandatory water at the time I entered about 7pm on a Saturday. When I arrived it there was only 1 other customer and about 6 dancers, one hotter than the next, wow dancer quality here was awesome. I am told the place would be standing room only by midnight but that was not the case while I was there. I sat at the stage for a while to tip and to get a view. Private dances are $25 a song but in addition to paying the girl for each song, you pay the bouncer at the entrance to the lap dance area a $5 entrance fee. If you go back later, you pay the $5 again. Anyway the private dances are fully nude, with good friction and 2 way contact. Rule is you cannot touch the kitty. Private rooms are mirrored booths with no door or curtain, so privacy but not complete privacy. Contact from dancers was excellent but nothing resembling extra mileage. I am guessing a different night with different girls would be a different story. I seem to remember getting more contact from the girl on my previous visit, but could just be the girl I picked. There are a couple of other more expensive private dance options, which I did not take so cannot report on. My impression is the talent here is as good as Mons Venus (or at least close) and provides more privacy for the private dances, which is why I prefer this place.

Came to 2001 Odyssey with a couple of buddies late Tuesday night and there were about 4 to 5 dancers on stage (there must be more in the back) plus a few talking to clients in the booths around the stage. Several came up and danced for me and my buddies and only a couple of times did they demand tips. Me and my two buddies each paid 150 dollars to go up to the spaceship and I got lucky as hell by saying yes to a smoking hot 10/10. Had to pay the total 150 up front but it was DEFINETELY COMPLETELY WORTH IT for me. However my two buddies complain that they got severely ripped off. Damn they were jealous ;) Due to my personal experience at 2001 I'll definitely go back sometime and this time I'll wait on going up to the spaceship just to make sure I go up with the right dancer and be positive I won't be ripped off

Went with a bunch of friends on a guys weekend and we ended up having a really good time. You have your usual collection of girls walking around just trying to get dances, but the girls on stage continually put on a great show. We all ended up getting at least one private dance and none of us felt disappointed in the experience. For $25 you could get a semi private dance where a bouncer could look at you via mirrors and it wasn't that great, I had the girl who took me back there spending the entire time trying to convince me to spend more money with her to go up in the "spaceship" and have a totally private dance, something you can get for far cheaper elsewhere in Tampa, albeit not with that quality of girls. I finally went up in to the spaceship (as did two of my friends) and I was not disappointed at all, the three different girls I went up there were all very handsy with me and we had a great time in our 15 minute sessions, granted for $200 for 15 minutes (I think that's what it was) you shouldn't be disappointed. All in all, this was a far better experience than the first time I went there about 7-8 years ago and now I can honestly say that I would definitely go back.

I was in Florida looking for a vacation/retirement home and decided to check out the local establishments. I stared with 2001 Odyssey. Walked in and the club seamed small to me. I was approached by what I believed was the hostess and said I’m new to the club and wanted the lowdown. She filled me in on the prices for lap dancers and what the different rooms cost. Prices seamed high to me but I sat down ordered a drink and the hostess brought it over and ask me what type of dancer I was interested in. I told her I was attracted to petite Asians. But looking around none seamed to be insight. She got up and went over to a smaller middle of the range 6 dancer and brought her back over and she sat down, The hostess left and came back with a drink for the dancer and asked me to pay for it. I told her it would have been nice if she asked me first before she got her the drink but I paid for it anyways. After a few minutes of the dancer continuing to hound me for drinks and dances or trips to the expensive room I decided to leave.
